Hello friends of @foodiesbeehive.... Happy weekday here I share my publication for this space and I hope you like it.
Days ago in the afternoon I felt like eating empanadas stuffed with carne mechada or caraota with cheese since in my country we eat it a lot so as Venezuelan arepas and empanadas are known for having a considerable variety of fillings.

However, the most common and easiest empanadas to prepare empanadas the Fish like the one we will show you today.
INGREDIENTS AND UTENSILS:
- Precooked corn flour for empanadas.
- Salt to taste.
- Water.
- Sugar to taste.
- Vegetable oil.
- filling (Fish).
- Bowl.
- Frying pan.
- Spoon.
- Fork.

PREPARATION:
- Wash the utensils to be used.

- **Prepare the dough**: Add the corn flour in a bowl and salt to taste.

~ Stir. Add little by little the water mixing it with the flour and knead with your hands.

~ Knead until the mixture is smooth, firm and has a uniform consistency without lumps.

~ Make a big ball as soon as the dough is ready. Then divide the large ball into equal parts.

~ Flatten the ball into a disk shape using the length of your hands. You can use water or oil to moisten your hands to prevent the dough from sticking to them. Flatten the ball until it is a few millimeters thick.

- Put two to three tablespoons of the filling (Fish) right in the center of the circle of dough you just flattened.

- Then, take the top of the plastic wrap and carefully fold the circle in two so that you have a semicircle.

- Next, find an extra empty bowl to cut off the excess dough and create the famous empanada moon shape. Remove the excess dough and then the empanada from the paper.
- Fry the empanadas. You will know they are ready when they are golden brown. Take them out and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

- Place them on a plate to enjoy them.

Empanadas are an excellent way to reuse leftovers such as ground beef, chicken, tuna, ham, dogfish, caraotas (black beans) and use them for this delicious meal that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Thank you for dedicating your time and support to read my publication. And join me here, until another opportunity.
