After dinner, I wanted to have a cup of coffee so I made a fire in the dirty kitchen to boil some water. Then came my daughter who just finished washing the plates, she came close to the fire to warm her hands from the cold water and then we had a talk I showed her her pictures which I uploaded here on Hive and she was laughing at how much she and her siblings changed over the years.
@eylii had changed so much, from a little baby whom my family called Litlit, the nickname they gave to her for being small, a short and cute name for someone who is maliit( little) and now that she is 11, she's already as tall as I am and is on the 6th grade.
I Introduced Hive to her way back when she was still 8, I made her an account so she could post short posts and develop her English writing skills as well as improve her reading skills but things didn't work out the way I expected it. She lost the spark and did not post for along time until we talked tonight. She hasn't made a post yet but she made moves which shows that she is willing and ilI am very happy about it.
Anyway, I had been across @asterkame's post several times, sorry for the tag and I found her origami and art works very interesting, I even once replied that my daughter is going to love her work which I did tonight and we both made flower papers tonight along with my son.
My husband was away refereeing a basketball game and we had so much time to spare. It was raining heavily and it's very cold so we did it at our bedroom.
As I showed my daughter asterkame's work, she was very amazed and wanted to try them soon. Tonight, we only did the bow, the fan and the paper rose and it was a great bonding moment for us all.
I had a hard time following her work but I did not give up finally got how the rose was made, though not perfect, I was able to teach my daughter how to do it and I am hoping that she would learn how to love Hive and share things here.
I have told many people about Hive but some of them only signed up and lost interest, and some saying they don't have time for it. Now I am focusing on teaching my child not only hive but also to be responsible, and money wise for her own good.
I was really hoping she would be more interested and start posting soon. This will be all for now, thank you so much for your time and support. Keep safe and stay happy.
