Hello everyone! I hipe you are well and happy in your end. The Philippines has faced many problems today, and as of typing, some parts of Luzon was hit by a signal number 5 storm and they are so pitiful. The wind and rain was so hard at day time and I am really worried about them tonight especially that there were no electricity and some places were already submerged in flood; some places had landslides as well.
Anyway in our home, we are peaceful, we are In Mindanao and it was so hot and bright today, it was blinding, my eyees were hurting as I went out from my workplace building to buy food.
But yesterday, before going somewhere with the family and myum was feeding the pigs, we heard her shout asking for help when the pig got lose of its tie. Good thing there were many of us at the scene and immediately helped.
Here is the pig with the rope around its neck and back, tied inside the pig pen. My daughter also climbed to watch my mum do.
These pigs were intended to be turned to meat for my niece's birthday next month. They had been growing this since April and they had grown so big and strong already that they could get lose of thier ropes.
Good thing when it happened yesterday, the feeds were ready and my husband, always strong and ready in any situations had picked up thr feeds to lure the pig back to the pen while we were still in shcok not knowing what to do and I was restrained my mu daughter who seek cover from me also.
Yesterday was a quick team job, it was a beautiful in one and even though my husband had to keep his injured had dry, he took the risj of getting it wet by helping, he is such a big hero.
Losih the pig would have been a huge problem that would cause despair to my sister and I am glad it was saved. My niece had celrebral palsy and will be turning 18 next month. My sister had great plans for her and she even wanted to make the preparations a month before and for sure, I will be helping her on the kitchen this day. I am very excited!
