Celebrando 90 años de mi padre

Saludos y bendiciones para todos, el pasado 29 de octubre estuvo de cumpleaños mi padre pero como cayó entre semana realizamos la celebración ayer sábado 1 de noviembre, de este modo planeamos reunirnos todos sus hijos y gran parte de sus nietos, bisnietos, sobrinos y amigos, esto lo estábamos programando hace bastante tiempo pero como siempre hay imprevistos, en este caso mi hermano mayor no pudo venir desde el campo por razones de salud, pero aun así mi papa estaba muy feliz de que estábamos 9 de los 10 hijos e hijas a los que les dio vida. > Greetings and blessings to all. My father's birthday was on October 29th, but since it fell on a weekday, we held the celebration yesterday, Saturday, November 1st. We planned to get together with all his children and many of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and friends. We had been planning this for quite some time, but as always, there were unforeseen circumstances. In this case, my older brother couldn't come from the countryside due to health reasons, but even so, my father was very happy that 9 of the 10 sons and daughters he brought into the world were there.   De verdad estamos todos muy agradecidos con Dios por permitirle a mi padre llegar a los 90 años, él es invidente desde ya hace mucho tiempo, pero aun así la alegría de la fiesta es él, estuvo pendiente de que nadie se olvidara de su cumpleaños y se realizó como el quería, con bastante comida, música y baile. > We are all truly grateful to God for allowing my father to reach 90 years old. He has been blind for a long time, but even so, he was the joy of the party. He made sure that no one forgot his birthday, and it was celebrated just as he wanted, with plenty of food, music, and dancing.    Un sobrino político se encargó de la música en vivió, pues canta y toca guitarra y a mi papa le encanta su música, sobre todos las rancheras y los boleros, mi papá cantó y bailó, también pudimos comer un deliciosos chivo guisado traído del campo donde mi papa tenía su fundo y donde aun vive mi hermano mayor, todo estuvo muy bueno, pero la parte mas divertida de la noches fue que le devolvimos el favor a mi papa, pues en cada uno de nuestros cumpleaños mi papá compone versos alusivos al cumpleañero y a veces estos son muy graciosos, entonces esta vez los hijos le compusimos versos a él y se los recitamos pro el micrófono, las risas no faltaron , menos mal él se tomo todó con humor y le encantaron nuestras composiciones, fue una maravillosa noche, yo fui con mi hija mayor y mis tres nietos, la pasamos muy bien y en nombre de Dios el próximo año seguiremos celebrando al vida de nuestro viejo . > A nephew by marriage provided the music, as he sings and plays guitar, and my dad loves his music, especially rancheras and boleros. My dad sang and danced, and we also enjoyed a delicious goat stew brought from the countryside where my dad had his farm and where my older brother still lives. Everything was wonderful, but the most fun part of the evening was returning the favor to my dad. On each of our birthdays, my dad composes verses about the birthday person, and sometimes they're very funny. So this time, we children composed verses for him and recited them into the microphone. There was no shortage of laughter. Luckily, he took it all in good humor and loved our compositions. It was a wonderful night. I went with my eldest daughter and my three grandchildren.
