El viejo camión ya casi se convierte en chatarra [ESP // ENG]

Quien viera ahí al viejo camión que nos acompañó en tantas aventuras, recuerdo las veces que nos fue a buscar al pueblo luego que el río no nos dejara pasar de regreso por su gran creciente, las veces que nos fuimos de excursión a las montañas, lo mejor es que había espacio para todos, también en sus días de trabajo cuando tocaba cargar la caña y traerla al trapiche. Creo que nadie imaginó que iba a estar "arrumado", olvidado y desgastado en medio de la maleza a su suerte. El viejo camión, en algún momento, fue el único y por mucho espacio el sustento del hogar, más allá de la recreación, la posibilidad de tener un plato de comida en nuestra mesa. Lamentablemente, en algunas de las tantas crisis, no se pudo hacer quizás un pequeño mantenimiento, que luego se convertiría en algo más grave, hasta que fue imposible ponerlo a funcionar como antes, por lo costoso que sería. Ahora mismo, no sé exactamente qué tan dañado está, lo más probable es que, desde allí, salga directo a convertirse en chatarra. Realmente marcó una época, una historia en todas y cada una de las familias que se lograron beneficiar, de su fuerza, de su versatilidad y de su "fidelidad". Unfortunately, during some of the many crises, it was not possible to do even minor maintenance, which later became something more serious, until it was impossible to get it to work as before, because of how expensive it would be. Right now, I don't know exactly how damaged it is, but most likely, it will go straight to the scrapyard. It really marked an era, a story in each and every one of the families that benefited from its strength, versatility, and “loyalty.” They say we shouldn't get attached to material things, but sometimes, how difficult that is...
