I’ve seen situations where secrets were kept for a long time, and when the other partner found out, it led to broken trust and loss of love. Transparency: Being open helps build trust and reduces unnecessary suspicion. When both partners share their feelings, plans, and even finances, it promotes better understanding and commitment. But when transparency goes too far, it can also create problems. Just like a Nollywood movie I once watched, a couple was doing perfectly well until the boyfriend gave his fiancée access to his bank account. She made unnecessary withdrawals and spent lavishly, not knowing the money belonged to his father’s company. When the truth came out, everything fell apart, and the relationship ended in disappointment and regret. So, what makes a relationship perfect?
