Sugarcane is cultivated in our area. At present, the sugarcane crop is getting ready and its harvesting will start around the month of December and in some places, the harvesting of sugarcane starts in the months of January and February. So, there are still about five to six months left for the sugarcane crop to be ready. But sugarcane juice is specially extracted from sugarcane. Juice is extracted from fresh sugarcane and we drink sugarcane juice extracted from sugarcane. Sugarcane molasses is produced in factories. Local people make molasses from sugarcane and sugarcane juice is also consumed in such large quantities in summer.
