Hoje trago para vocês a orquídea Cattleya, em uma de suas diversas variedades, já que mesmo esta única espécie possui vários exemplares diferentes entre si.
Também é conhecida como May Lily e justamente a variedade Cattleya trianae acaba por ser a flor nacional da Colômbia. Porém, pode ser encontrado em diversos países americanos como Brasil, Equador, Panamá, Bolívia, Venezuela e Peru.
