Hello everybody! Today I continue my story about the Italian town of Bordighera and its surroundings. I probably won't say anything out of the ordinary, but you can feel the love and care of the city's residents for their surroundings everywhere. To be honest, I've never seen janitors or sweepers here. Most likely, their work is carried out very early in the morning, when the city is still asleep.
Whether this is true or not, I won't say for sure, but despite the fact that there are few passers-by on the streets in Bordighera, it is always and everywhere cleaned. And it's not just about being clean of trash, because if you look closely at my photographs, you'll notice how neatly the tiles on the sidewalks are laid, how the trees are fenced with special curbs, and there are unusual beautiful fountains in parks and squares that are made with skill and grace.
Sometimes it seems that there is some kind of magic here, because during the day the city lives its usual life, people go to work in larger cities. It is in the mornings that there are a lot of cars going towards the west coast. Franco says that most of the residents work in neighboring France.
Sometimes I had the feeling that the city belonged to invisible elves. No one has ever seen them, but these creatures seem to be calmly and invisibly carrying out their work on the improvement of the city, trying not to catch the eyes of people. I should also tell you about the road signs separately, but I'll do it next time, and that's all for today!
Привет всем! Сегодня я продолжаю свой рассказ об итальянском городке Бордигера и его окрестностях. Наверное я не скажу ничего из ряда вон выходящего, но здесь везде чувствуется любовь и забота жителей города к своему окружению. Честно говоря, я ни разу не видел здесь дворников или уборочных машин, скорей всего их работа ведётся очень рано утром, когда город ещё спит.
Так это или нет, точно не скажу, но несмотря на то, что в Бордигере на улицах мало прохожих, здесь всегда и везде убрано. И дело касается не только чистоты от мусора, потому что если вы внимательно посмотрите на мои фотоснимки, то заметите, как аккуратно уложена плитка на тротуарах, как для деревья огорожены специальными бордюрами, в парках и скверах встречаются необычные красивые фонтаны, которые сделаны с мастерством и изяществом.
Порой кажется, что здесь присутствует некая магия, ведь, днём город живёт своей обычной жизнью, люди ездят на работу в более крупные города. Именно по утрам здесь очень много машин, которые едут в сторону запада побережья. Франко говорит, что большая часть жителей работает в соседней Франции.
Иногда у меня возникало такое ощущение, что город принадлежит невидимым эльфам. Никто никогда не видел их, но эти существа будто спокойно и незримо ведут свою работу по благоустройству города, стараясь не попадаться на глаза людям. Стоило бы ещё отдельно рассказать о дорожных знаках, но это я сделаю в следующий раз, а на сегодня у меня всё!
