Un cordial saludo a @lanzjoseg y a la Sra. @sacra97 por esta hermosa iniciativa que nos traen cada jueves.
Esta foto tiene aproximadamente 3 años, aquí aparecemos mi mamá @rosahernmosa y yo, es una de las últimas fotos que nos tomamos en Colombia Sincelejo antes de venirnos a Venezuela, era un mes de diciembre. Ese mes en Sincelejo se acostumbra adornar las plazas y hacer actos culturales para festejar las fiestas decembrinas, es un mes muy alegre donde la unión familiar se hace más fuerte porque hay varias celebraciones en nuestra familia.
Mi hermosa madre es la encargada de darle sazón a las comidas porque tiene un don para cocinar espectacular y ese día nos esperaba en la casa una cena navideña. Pero antes de ir a cenar, llevamos a los niños a la Plaza a pasar un rato diferente con las luces y los eventos, además la plaza quedaba muy cerca de nuestro hogar.
Para mi esta foto guarda un gran significado porque justo en esa plaza vivimos muchos momentos grandiosos. Sincelejo es un pueblo que nos abrió las puertas y nos dio oportunidad de trabajo y estabilidad. Sin embargo, decidimos venirnos porque no hay como la patria donde nacimos y porque a pesar del trabajo estable que teníamos mi esposo y yo, la situación era igual de fuerte como aquí, la única diferencia es que no tenemos la presión de un alquiler y el pago de los servicios.
Si algo extraño de Sincelejo es esa plaza donde estoy con mi madre, la recuerdo con afecto porque es un sitio muy hermoso con olor a pueblo y gente buena. Un domingo allí era un domingo diferente.
A veces los sitios significativos se extrañan igual que a las personas.

Warm greetings to @lanzjoseg and Ms. @sacra97 for this wonderful initiative they bring us every Thursday.
This photo is approximately 3 years old. It features my mom @rosahernmosa and me. It's one of the last photos we took in Sincelejo, Colombia, before coming to Venezuela. It was December. That month in Sincelejo, it's customary to decorate the plazas and hold cultural events to celebrate the December holidays. It's a very joyful month where family unity grows stronger because there are several celebrations in our family.
My beautiful mother is in charge of seasoning the meals because she has a gift for cooking spectacularly, and that day a Christmas dinner was waiting for us at home. But before going to dinner, we took the children to the plaza to spend some time with the lights and events. The plaza was also very close to our home.
This photo holds great meaning for me because we experienced many wonderful moments right in that plaza. Sincelejo is a town that opened its doors to us and gave us opportunities for work and stability. However, we decided to come here because there's nothing like the homeland where we were born, and because despite the stable jobs my husband and I had, the situation was just as difficult as it is here. The only difference is that we don't have the pressure of rent and utility bills.
If there's one strange thing about Sincelejo, it's that plaza where I'm with my mother. I remember it fondly because it's a beautiful place with the smell of the town and good people. One Sunday there was a different Sunday.
Sometimes significant places are missed just like the people.
