Aunque ya han pasado casi 24 horas desde que nacieron aún no hemos podido determinar el sexo de cada uno de ellos, puesto es muy temprano para su determinación desde nuestro entendimiento, hemos hechos hasta ahora grandes esfuerzos por que su madre los amamante ya que siendo una familia de roedores domésticos son mamíferos y la hembra sólo posee dos glándulas mamarias. En el video que les presento a continuación pueden apreciar el proceso de apartado y limpiado de su pelaje luego del parto, esto lo debería hacer la madre pero la nuestra no es una muy abnegada a sus hijos y si no los atiende al momento simplemente los deja morir.
