Hoy decidí preparar con los limones que recogí del árbol que tenemos sembrado en una parte del terreno de la casa una refrescante bebida tradicional de nuestra región, como lo es el guarapo de papelón con limón. Por ser una zona caliente sentimos mucho calor lo que nos obliga a ingerir bebidas refrescantes para calmar la sed y sentirnos fortalecido, podemos adquirir el guarapo de papelón en diversos expendios como las vendedoras de empanadas, arepas y tequeños; mientras que otros vendedores ofrecen solo el guarapo en diferentes zona de nuestra ciudad, la venta de esta bebida les sirve como sustento para las personas que la preparan, de igual manera en los hogares la preparan para servir en cualquier momento de día, así como para ofrecerla cuando llegan visitas a nuestras casas o para festejos, como podemos observar que esta bebida la podemos servir y disfrutar en diversas ocasiones en la que nos ayudara a sentirnos frescos.

La elaboración de esta bebida es muy sencilla necesitamos limones, papelón, agua, hielo y vasos.

En primer lugar recolectamos los limones, luego se pica y se exprimen en una jarra.
