This match happened ages ago and I just have not posted about it! This is the Grand Imperial Army... at the current mode. This is to say, a collection of my Battle Ready, Tabletop quality painted miniatures that I can use in games of Warhammer 40k.
This army is allowed to be made up of Legends of course as it represents a COLLECTION.
Now... this is not everything I have, but it IS the army I have built post by post, declaring my additions on Hive on my Alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

It was 2,130pts and then with Wargear attached, the army became...
And with this army... I am not meant to be playing a regular size game. I am meant to be playing a grind down game against another player who has a big collection, he's got a Hive account but he does not post, only comments: @owen-turner
Owen brought a force of intentionally larger points value of Necrons to come and wipe me out and for my Space Wolves to have an Epic and Heroic last stand!
Which is what we did... but THEN... the idea is for me to be motivated to paint more of my models, add them on the Log on Hive on @zakl.hobbyfund and then to play Owen again!
Eventually, his Necrons will become overpowered and he will have to send in the next wave of miniatures from his collection - he has Blood Angels, Imperial Fists and Orks!

Hmmm I seem to remember blowing up the Deciever here... but did that already happen? This game was a while back...

Moving my formations... something I can't do when there is many units on my side of the board.
Looks like I am knee deep here... man I HATE Scarab swarms!
Aaand we have a Transcendant C'tan in our back lines!
Hehe, I made the Nightbringer and the Lychguard walk a lot...
That C'tan nearly breaks my Vindicator.
Space Wolves counter attack! Glory and death!
I blasted the Criossant out of the sky!
I NEARLY kill the bikes... but one survives... not good!
I manage to put some hurt in on the C'tan shard in my back lines.
Oh no! Those Grey Hunters are cooked!
More Necrons keep on coming in!
A hero's death!
The other Grey Hunters are surrounded!
Blood Claws get out of the Land Raider. Get off our Vindicator tank!
Free from that combat, the Necrons and the Nightbringer march onwards!
The C'tan is gone and the Blood Claws got stuck into the Necrons beyond. Bjorn squares up for a final defence.
I did manage to wipe out some of the encroaching Necrons.
The rest of the Necrons come streaming in.
Until the Wolf Scouts came out to harass them!
The Long Fangs and Rune Priest were in reserves. Together with the Wolf Scouts they kill one of the Doomstalkers.
It is the final moments of the battle!
Bjorn is in the thick of the fight!
And he ends up cutting down many Necrons!
The Skorpekhs take out Bjorn and there is a an Iron Priest left...
The Iron Priest kills two Skorpeks. He is the last man standing - Kreggus Ironblood!
What an heroic way to go and what an amazing battle! Thank you @owen-turner!
These are the Necrons that managed to survive the battle by the end. Not bad going by the Space Wolves!
I am looking foward to playing this game again but with more units on my side of the board!
