This is not to just regurgitating the stats and skills. I provide my own assessment of what I think of the unit and its capabilities. Often... about how to use them best... or how to kill them best!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways: - Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD - Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD - Selling some of the collection to friends.

Drukhari, Reavers

10th Edition Index

Reavers are a utility unit. They should be used as a scalple. They have decent, pin-point anti-tank, anti-infantry and Mortal Wounds dealing abilities.

But if they are rushed in too soon, they will evaporate... like most Drukhari units.

They are 65pts for 3 models and 120pts for 6 models.

Let's check their stats!

Stats

Movement 16" (so very fast!) Toughness 4 Save 4+/6++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain) Wounds 2 Ld 6+ OC 2

Weapons

Weapon Loadout: Each model is equipped with a Splinter Rifle, Splinter Pistol and Bladevanes

Options:

The Arena Champion can be equipped with an Agoniser. - For every 3 models in the unit, 1 Reaver can exchange their Splinter Rifle for one of the following: Blaster, Heat lance - For every 3 models in the unit, 1 Reaver can be equipped with one of the following: Grav-Talon, Cluster Caltrops.

Ranged Weapons

Dark Lance

36" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S12, AP-3 and D6+2 Damage each.

Disintegrator Cannon

36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.

Splinter Cannon

36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S3, AP-1 and 2 Damage each. Sustained Hits 1 (On a 6 to hit, score 1 additional Hit) Anti-Infantry 3+ (Score a Critical Wound on a 3+ against all Infantry, regardless of Toughness)

Splinter Rifle

24" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S2, AP0 and 1 Damage each. Assault (Can be fired while a unit is Advancing) Anti-Infantry 3+ (Score a Critical Wound on a 3+ against all Infantry, regardless of Toughness)

Splinter Pistol

12" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S2, AP0 and 1 Damage each. Pistol (This weapon can be fired while in Engagement range with enemies.) Assault (Can be fired while a unit is Advancing) Anti-Infantry 3+ (Score a Critical Wound on a 3+ against all Infantry, regardless of Toughness)

Blaster

18" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S8, AP-4 and D6+1 Damage each. Assault (Can be fired while a unit is Advancing)

Heat Lance

18" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S14, AP-4 and D6 Damage each. Assault (Can be fired while a unit is Advancing) Melta 3 (+3 Damage when firing within half range of 9")

Melee Weapons

Bladevanes

3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.

Agonizer

4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S3, AP-1 and 1 Damage each. Anti-Infantry 3+ (Score a Critical Wound on a 3+ against all Infantry, regardless of Toughness)

Abilities

Eviscerating Fly-by

Each time this unit ends a Normal move (Not when Advancing), roll a D6 for each model in this unit, on a 4+ cause 1 mortal wound to 1 unit they passed over.

Thoughts

I feel like these guys are ridiculously fast and deadly. Their guns are all Assault so they can move 16"+D6" and then still shoot!

However it is more likely that this unit will be used for mobility and scoring and occassional situational damage.
