Definitely one of the creepiest characters in 40k... I am sure he competes with Fabuis Bile for this title!
Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post! I have recently needed to take a new direction. All the details about that is found Here - The Great 40k Review Plan
This is not to just regurgitating the stats and skills. I provide my own assessment of what I think of the unit and its capabilities. Often... about how to use them best... or how to kill them best!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways: - Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD - Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD - Selling some of the collection to friends.
I will do a new estimation of what I owe soon!
Back to the review!
Drukhari, Urien Rakarth
10th Edition Index
Urien Rakarth is an Epic Hero that is basically the super version of the Standard Haemonculus. He gives you some different options for the unithe can lead.
He is 80pts.
Let's check his stats!
Stats
Movement 7" Toughness 4 Save 6+/4++/4+++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain) Wounds 5 Ld 6+ OC 1
Weapons
Weapon Loadout: Casket of Flensing, Haemonculus tools and Scissorhands
Ranged Weapons
Casket of Flensing
12" Range, 3D6 Shots, Hitting on Auto, S3, AP-1 and 1 Damage each. Torrent (This weapon hits automatically, just roll for number of shots) One Shot (This weapon can only be used once per game) Devastating Wounds (Critical Wound rolls of a 6 cause Mortal Wounds)
Melee Weapons
Haemonculus Tools and Scissorhands
5 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S3, AP-1 and D3 Damage each. Anti-Infantry 2+ (Critically Wounds Infantry models on a 2+ regardless of Toughness) Precision (This model can allocate their damage to Characters instead of the Bodyguard)
Abilities
Fleshcraft
At the end of your Movement Phase this model can heal one of the following units:
Cronos, Talos, Grotesques or Wracks The first three can have a model regain up to 3 lost wounds, if they are Wracks, return up to 3 destroyed models to the unit instead.
Horrific Regeneration
After the first time this model dies, roll a 2+, he comes back on full wounds!
Thoughts
I am going to call him El Kokorocho!
4+ Invul, 4+ Feel No Pain and then when you finally kill him, 2+ and he comes back!
Not to mention that he heals your Haemonculus units... He is so gross. He's not particularly deadly compared to other Drukhari but WOW is he tough and a pain to deal with!
Well worth the 80pts to be a thorn in someone's side.
Thank you for reading!
