While I fight against some conscious habits, I want, try and fight to incorporate new ones, more than a month ago and incorporated into my life, intermittent fasting, when I wake up I make myself a glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon and a quarter teaspoon of sea salt dessert, after my children go to school, I take 10 to 15 minutes the sun and then I go for a walk.
At 10 am I break the fast with two eggs and avocado 🥑 (while I can), the point is to break it with protein and fats, like at 2 or 3 in the afternoon I make a meal with meat (chicken, beef or fish) Avocado and peppers, at 6pm I take my last meal with something light, although if I feel satisfied I take water and repeat the next day. Throughout the day if I drink enough water about 3 liters, I try to go to bed at 10 pm and half an hour before I take my magnesium supplement with potassium and a basil tea or green tea.
My experience is being very useful, I wake up with an incredible energy, I have lost 5 kilos and it is helping me with the menopause and stress cycle because my cortisol levels have dropped, I am sleeping much better. I think I'm changing my lifestyle for the better.
The first week I felt the need for carbohydrates and sugar, a little weakness for fasting but little by little I got used to it, the intake of water with sea salt replenishes electrolytes and satisfies hunger, it's working for me. If I tell you that when it comes to breaking the fast the amount of protein and fat is important, green vegetables too.
One day I wanted to incorporate cucumber juice with lemon which by the way I found very refreshing but the taste does not like my palate and I have not repeated it, but it is super that advisable.
Fasting is not for everyone, everything should be consulted with the specialist.
