MÁSCARA
Cuenta la leyenda que en lo más intrincado del monte de Sinai, daba a luz una hermosa joven que había sido desterrada de su pueblo por haber quedado embarazada misteriosamente.
Nació una niña, casi la arroja al suelo cuando vio su carita, una enorme mancha de sangre cubría casi la mitad de su rostro, su instinto de madre no la dejó caer, arropándola con cariño, la nombró Sinaí.
Transcurrieron 20 años, le hizo una máscara, dejando al descubierto unas facciones finas y delicadas. Sinaí comenzó a tener curiosidad acercándose a la ciudad. Los jóvenes la miraban extrañadamente por la máscara. Uno se atrevió a arrebatarsela, la empujaron y se burlaron sin piedad, ella echó a correr.
Su madre entre llantos le contó su historia y quien era su verdadero padre y que al llegar las 12 de la noche cumpliendo sus 21 años habría un eclipse y la marca de su cara desaparecería. Prometió que ese dia regresarian juntas a la ciudad.
El dia llegó y partieron juntas a la ciudad, los pobladores quedaron atónitos con su belleza, los padres de Risco corrieron al lugar alardeando de ser los abuelos de Sinai, la abrazaron y volvieron a casa.
Este mini cuento esta basado en el cuento El Patito Feo, refleja la crueldad con la que la sociedad, en este caso sólo mira lo físico, burlándose sin pensar que detrás de una deficiencia, se esconde una persona con sentimientos y belleza interior. Son paradigmas que rigen la sociedad de hoy sin importarle qué. Muchos empleos buscan personas fisicamente bellas para que sean la cara de un negocio y marginan a otras llenas de talento y deseos de trabajar.
Quise cambiar la parte del cuento donde la mamá de patito feo lo rechaza y lo ve feo, creo que eso fue lo que mas dañó a patito, el sentimiento maternal es el mejor y mas real de todos, ya con eso uno puede desafiar el mundo entero.
Este es un clásico bien pensado con vista a futuro para que pase de generación en generación.

This mini story is based on the story The Ugly Duckling, reflects the cruelty with which society, in this case only looks at the physical, mocking without thinking that behind a deficiency, hides a person with feelings and inner beauty. They are paradigms that govern today's society no matter what. Many jobs look for physically beautiful people to be the face of a business and marginalize others full of talent and desire to work.
I wanted to change the part of the story where ugly duckling's mom rejects him and sees him as ugly, I think that was what hurt duckling the most, the maternal feeling is the best and most real of all, and with that one can challenge the whole world.
This is a well thought out classic with a view to the future to pass from generation to generation.
