Tsuki the Yorkie! Introducing our cute and adorable Yorkshire Terrier

Tsuki is a Yorkshire Terrier, the eldest of all of our dogs. Her name is derived from the Japanese word for moon (月) 🌙 or 'tsuki' in romaji. My sister and I were the ones who named Tsuki as 'moon' because we believed that she was that little puppy who would shine in the darkness. ✨✨  *Tsuki when she was still 4 months old* She had really dark hair when she was still a puppy, with only the least noticeable golden streaks on her face compared to her current appearance. Despite that, we knew she would shine; thus, she's the moon in the dark. 🌜  *Tsuki's very cute picture during her 6th birthday* Her birthday is also celebrated on a Christmas Day!🎄 So it's an all-in-one celebration during Christmas for Tsuki and our family. 💓

Way before Tsuki became part of our family here in Cebu, she was from Manila, Philippines. It was our father that bought Tsuki from Manila, wherein she was then sent to Cebu by plane. ✈️

Tsuki was actually born and raised there for 4 months and was named 🎇Mhia of Glendie's Pride🎇 by her previous owner. Truly, an elegant name suited for a dog like her. However, we wanted to give her a name ourselves, to have a more personal feeling ❤️. That is why Tsuki is Tsuki.

The first few days from when she first arrived here in Cebu, Tsuki was a very behave puppy. She never misbehaved nor even barked, to the point where we began to doubt whether she was incapable of barking. She also would not run around, but she was rather curious and would love to stare straight at your eyes👀. Thankfully, days later she eventually warmed up to us and began playing around💞. She especially liked ripping papers📰 and biting pencils✏️ when she gets the chance without our supervision, during her early puppy months. Now that she's older, she still loves playing, but this time with her little stuffed toys:

We realized that Tsuki was the type of dog who loves to observe😲, may it be your actions and the words you say. Because of that, she's a very fast learner. She learned tricks easily! Here's the TOP 3 of the many tricks she can do 😎:

We also have a guessing game for Tsuki as she commonly uses her eyes and brain, rather than her nose. It's really interesting😂. We do the guessing game by hiding a treat in one of our hands✋, and she must guess where it is❓. Rather than smelling where the treat is in our hands, she remembers from which hand we hid it, and chooses it. If not, she looks back and forth between the hands and just randomly guesses which hand. ---- *Tsuki spying on a bird!* She also has this one unique trait as a terrier🐕. It's part of the roots of all terrier dogs to have an innate instinct to hunt. Tsuki indeed acquired that instinct to hunt. However, she would not catch her prey!🤣 For example, she wants to 'hunt' a cockroach inside the house. She'd only tap on the cockroach, using her paws, and wait for it to move. Again and again, tap and tap, just to see her prey move. Instead, she loves being dressed because she expects that we will be going out once she gets dressed 🍂! When going on outings, Tsuki is always present. ------ **Tsuki the Yorkie** is your one-in-a-million, very smart and well-behaved curious dog, like an embodiment of a model or royal Yorkshire Terrier. 👑 This is just the beginning about Tsuki!
