How about 10k+ steps while getting pissed upon? The heat has finally broken and we are mercifully getting some rain. I was on the town working today.
It was news day again and we partner with a local news company to help with downtown distribution and online promotion.
A quick jaunt in the countryside showed a great big sky full of clouds. The green is springing back with a couple days off rain
Downtown, I paused to look west and snap a pic of one of the old hotels. Patio will most likely be empty today but plenty of action inside as we are still in theatre season.
Another entry in the “delivery guys blocking traffic” expose. Why these big trucks can block traffic in a downtown core in the busy season is beyond me. I park on the side of the road a few minutes without paying the meter and I get a ticket.
Looking east in the square, it almost looks like the clouds may break and the rain might just stop. Plenty of cars and umbrellas in the early afternoon.
City hall stands proudly behind the dragon boat which foreshadows our yearly dragon oat festival. The lake was dangerously low before the rain but is full again so the event should go on.
To end the big day and push me over 10k steps, it was time to take the little guy to the park. Plenty to splash in and the sky finally did clear.
