Today was my weekly big step day as work takes me through the streets of this small town. I don’t give summer up without a fight and sunny & 24 sure helps the cause.
There were signs of fall mind you. Chrysanthemums (aka mums!) are out at all the flower stores. Such a nice splash of colour and food for those late season pollinators.
Pumpkins out early for the season and @moeenali thinks these are rather expensive. Definitely less expensive ones around these parts where the localfarmers often grow them.
Visiting this funny old truck on the side of a country road, more signs as the soy beans are turning yellow and the tree to the right of him is showing some colour.
Back closer to town, this country home is basking in the warm sunshine and deep blue skies.

Down by our office, patios are still open and trees are still green as can be.
My weekly shot from the steps of city hall still with plenty of short sleeves and not even breeze enough to stir the flag on the pole. Surely nothing could compete with this summer vibe!
Except snow?!?! Your eyes do deceive you a little as they are shooting a hallmark Christmas movie downtown and the fake snow is pretty convincing at first glance.
They have holiday huts set up in market square as part of the set and a couple roads blocks off for the production
equipment.
10 k steps wouldn’t be a complete day without a trip to Dogwars with the little guy. A good run along the trails as he found another one who likes to sprint and wrestle at high speed.
Looking at the forecast for the next while, looks like I will have plenty more chances at summery days!
Might as well celebrate with a beautiful beer from Quebec! Nice and sideways because actifit likes to confuse pictures on the iPhone!
Until recently, our provinces had tariffs on certain things between provinces. How stupid is that? Good to see more beers from across Canada on the shelves.
