It was time again to hit the streets in this small town, deliver the news, top 10k and share with the world.
All of the trees seem to have colour, with some of them far enough into fall to have dropped their leaves. These guys are half and half at this point.
Out in the country, Canadian Mater is resting and rusting in front of his field. Looks like it is now winter wheat which we will see in the spring.
Further down the country road, corn is still in some fields as it takes a while to get to it all in this region. A little dry spell and frost waiting a couple more weeks should see it all harvested but I worry about the farmers who might not even get to harvest what they grew all summer.
I have been enjoying Halloween season so long, I almost forget it has t happened yet. These folks are in the spirit and will most likely be handing out candy to the kids Friday night.
Back in town, my travels take me past the vet clinic where they have a welcome sign for the pets due to visit that day. Do you see your pets name there or get a laugh from them?
Because you have a bigass truck means you can park like an asshole right?
My weekly shot from the steps of city hall looking north shows a bustling day in this tiny metropolis. Hinting of rain by midday though.
A break in the traffic lets me snap a picture in the middle of Main Street for you. Not as rainy as last week but a sprinkling has started.
By the afternoon, the rain sets in and things settle down a little.
A quick stop at a client to snap some pictures for the bedding and mattress promotion. Almost makes me want to take a nap.
Full on rain in the afternoon but the summer has been so long and beautiful, I am almost ready for some cool and damp. In a month or so, we will be into frost and snow for these walls.
Rain or shine, no matter the season, I like to cap off a 10k step day with a beer! Might include it for #beersaturday this weekend!
Cheers for joining me on my walk and quest to break the top 300 @actifit users of all time!!
