¡Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive y Street Workout! Espero que todos estén muy bien, chicos. Llevo semanas sin publicar para ustedes, debido a que estaba en reposo médico. Actualmente, he mejorado mucho, así que mis entrenamientos y las publicaciones volverán, como antes, chicos. Hoy hablaré de mi experiencia organizando y siendo parte del Team Organizador SWC para llevar a cabo la segunda edición del Versus por Categoría en la Ciudad de Barquisimeto, Estada Lara. Gracias a la blockchain de Hive con su patrocinio, esto fue posible. El día sábado 25 de octubre por la mañana mi amigo @joscar-sw me comunicó si podía ir a la ciudad ese día para ayudar a organizar, a lo que le comenté que si podía hacerlo y con gusto ayudaría.
A warm greeting to the entire Hive and Street Workout community! I hope you are all doing well, guys. I haven't posted for you in weeks because I was on medical leave. I'm feeling much better now, so my training and posts will be back to normal, everyone. Today I'm going to talk about my experience organising and being part of the SWC Organising Team for the second edition of Versus por Categoría in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State. Thanks to Hive's blockchain and sponsorship, this was possible. On Saturday morning, 25 October, my friend @joscar-sw asked me if I could go to the city that day to help organise, to which I replied that I could and would gladly help.

A eso de las 6:30 pm me pasaron buscando por mi casa para ir de camino al Centro Comercial Sambil. Estábamos con mi persona, @victormarquez @kley-sw y sin olvidar a @joscar-sw de camino en un carro para Barquisimeto. El viaje duró alrededor de 3 horas y media, tuvimos ventaja de que no había tráfico. Una vez que llegamos al Sambil, nos comunicamos con el líder @manuelramos para empezar a organizar. Primero, nos dijo que comiéramos para luego empezar a organizar. Empezamos a buscar y la mayoría de los locales de comida estaban cerrados. Tuvimos suerte y encontramos Chiro Chicken. Cenamos para tener energía una vez que comencemos el montaje. Alrededor de las 12 a. m. empezamos a organizar todo.
At around 6:30 p.m., they picked me up at my house to go to the Sambil Shopping Centre. We were with me, @victormarquez, @kley-sw, and, of course, @joscar-sw on our way to Barquisimeto in a car. The trip took about three and a half hours, but we were lucky because there was no traffic. Once we arrived at Sambil, we contacted the leader, @manuelramos, to start organising. First, he told us to eat and then start organising. We started looking, but most of the restaurants were closed. We were lucky and found Chiro Chicken. We had dinner to get some energy before we started setting up. Around midnight, we began to organise everything.

Se descargó el camión para llevar las cosas a la plaza central. Al ser solo 4 personas descargando, nos costaría un poco llevar todo en su lugar, pero logramos hacerlo. En este punto nos dividimos en pareja, mientras Joscar y Kleiber se encargaban con el montaje de los flyers, yo y Víctor nos encargamos de montar los banderines y las barras paralelas. De esta misma manera hicimos con todas las demás cosas que teníamos que organizar, mientras el CEO nos estaba guiando para que todo quedara bien a la hora de comenzar la competencia.
The lorry was unloaded to take the items to the central square. With only four people unloading, it took us a while to get everything in place, but we managed it. At this point, we split into pairs. While Joscar and Kleiber took care of setting up the flyers, Victor and I took care of setting up the flags and parallel bars. We did the same with everything else we had to organise, while the CEO guided us so that everything would be ready when the competition began.

Me gustó ayudar al equipo, fue una noche en la cual terminamos cansados, pero hubo muchas risas y diversión. Fue algo que nos ayudó a no sentir todo tan aburrido y pensar que no terminaríamos. Todo estaba listo a las 5 a. m., así que prácticamente amanecimos en el centro comercial, pero hicimos un buen trabajo. El camino de regreso a la posada fue caminando debido a que no había taxi, caminamos por obra de Dios, porque teníamos mucho sueño y cansancio en el cuerpo. Llegamos a la posada a eso de las 5:30 am. Cada uno se fue bañando y arreglando para dormir hasta más o menos las 8:30 a 9 am, porque teníamos que estar temprano en el sambil. Fue una experiencia única con el equipo, lo disfruté más de lo que pensaba.
I enjoyed helping the team. It was a night that left us exhausted, but there was a lot of laughter and fun. It helped us not to feel so bored and think that we would never finish. Everything was ready at 5 a.m., so we practically spent the night at the shopping centre, but we did a good job. We walked back to the hostel because there were no taxis. It was a miracle we made it, because we were so sleepy and exhausted. We arrived at the hostel at around 5:30 a.m. We each took a shower and got ready for bed until about 8:30 or 9 a.m., because we had to be at the sambil early. It was a unique experience with the team, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
