¡Un cordial saludo a toda la comunidad de Hive y Street Workout! Espero que todos estén muy bien, chicos. El pasado 26 de octubre del año 2025 se realizó la segunda edición del Versus por Categoría en el Centro Comercial Sambil, Ciudad de Barquisimeto, Estado Lara. Una competencia que superó las expectativas y cumplió el sueño de muchos atletas de la comunidad. Todo estaba casi listo, mi persona, @joscar-sw, @kley-sw, @victormarquez y el líder @manuelramos. Salimos al sambil alrededor de las 10 am para terminar de organizar y perfeccionar el evento.
A warm greeting to the entire Hive and Street Workout community! I hope you are all doing well, everyone. On 26 October 2025, the second edition of Versus por Categoría (Versus by Category) was held at the Sambil Shopping Centre in Barquisimeto, Lara State. It was a competition that exceeded expectations and fulfilled the dreams of many athletes in the community. Everything was almost ready: myself, @joscar-sw, @kley-sw, @victormarquez, and the leader @manuelramos. We left for Sambil around 10 a.m. to finish organising and perfecting the event.

Hicimos la misma estrategia del día anterior para culminar todo a tiempo, dividirnos en dos grupos. Todo estaba listo a eso las 12 pm, los atletas que iban a competir estaban de camino a la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Hay un regalo muy importante que nos hizo el líder de SWC junto con el patrocinio de la Blockchain de Hive. Fue que estuviera presente el representante de Venezuela de la Street Workout Ultimate Battles, @victorallendes, un atleta que fue bicampeón internacional. Atleta de alto rendimiento, es un ejemplo a seguir para quienes practicamos este deporte. Luego de 8 años volvió a estar en Venezuela, en su casa. Fue un momento de admiración para todos nosotros. Además de ser parte de la mesa técnica de jueces, muchos atletas estaban emocionados.
We used the same strategy as the day before to finish everything on time, dividing ourselves into two groups. Everything was ready by 12 p.m., and the athletes who were going to compete were on their way to the city of Barquisimeto. The SWC leader gave us a very important gift, together with the sponsorship of Hive Blockchain. It was the presence of the Venezuelan representative of Street Workout Ultimate Battles, @victorallendes, an athlete who was a two-time international champion. A high-performance athlete, he is a role model for those of us who practice this sport. After eight years, he was back in Venezuela, back home. It was a moment of admiration for all of us. In addition to being part of the technical panel of judges, many athletes were excited.

Mi participación en esta competencia fue ser parte del equipo staff - protocolo. Estuve, al tanto, como de la competencia, como del trabajo que tenía que hacer. Tenía que estar pendiente de los refrigerios de los atletas, jueces, CEO. Entre muchas otras cosas más chicos, la competencia tuvo tres categorías Amateur, Semi-profesional y Profesional. Hubo bastante nivel y atletas que han mejorado con el tiempo, me pone feliz que muchos han avanzado en el deporte.
My participation in this competition was as part of the staff - protocol team. I was aware of both the competition and the work I had to do. I had to keep an eye on the refreshments for the athletes, judges, and CEO. Among many other smaller things, the competition had three categories: Amateur, Semi-professional, and Professional. The level was quite high, and many athletes have improved over time. It makes me happy that so many have advanced in the sport.

El evento comenzó a las 3 pm y culminó a las 9 pm. Fue un evento largo, pero tuvimos la oportunidad de ver varias exhibiciones de Víctor Allendes. Él lleva años practicando este deporte y su nivel es increíble. Nos hace ver que todo es posible en esta vida, no importa cuántas veces te caigas o piedras que consigas en el camino. Lo importante es seguir adelante, superarte y ser mejor persona. Sin olvidar que nos comentó que más aprende el que pierde que el que gana en una competencia. ¡Dándonos a entender que no todo el tiempo se trata de ganar, sino de aprender y crecer, chicos!
The event began at 3 p.m. and ended at 9 p.m. It was a long event, but we had the opportunity to see several exhibitions by Víctor Allendes. He has been practising this sport for years and his level is incredible. He shows us that anything is possible in life, no matter how many times you fall or how many obstacles you encounter along the way. The important thing is to keep going, improve yourself, and be a better person. Not to mention that he told us that those who lose learn more than those who win in a competition. This makes us understand that it's not always about winning, but about learning and growing, guys!
