Son muchos los casos donde no hay respeto, empatía, solidaridad con todos, no solo con los adultos mayores que son los abuelitos, ancianitos, que es una bendición llegar a esa edad, pero la sociedad se olvida que ellos alguna vez fueron serviciales, se jubilaron, cobran una pensión, que hay leyes que los protege, pero hay quienes no hacen caso de las leyes, por ende tampoco respetan a los adultos mayores.
Para no ir muy lejos hay una ley al menos aquí en mi ciudad, que las personas de tercera edad o con alguna discapacidad o condición están exonerados del pasaje de transporte publico es decir mas que todo los buses, pero que sin embargo hay quienes le pagan el medio pasaje, no es siempre porque tampoco es una persona de esa edad salga todos los días, como ejemplo mi mama, ella le paga su medio pasaje, yo algunas veces también.
Pero se han dado casos en que no lo hacen entonces los colectores que son los ayudantes del chófer, que quizás no tienen pues o si les pagan quedan esperando el cambio o vuelto, que no lo hacen, de paso les insultan, será que ellos no tendrán abuelitos, que no les gustara que otros traten mal así a los suyos.
Pero a lo que voy es que así como ellos exigen, no cumplen. Mi mama es una persona de 77 años, con diferentes cuadros de salud como: diabetica, cervical, la mas recién su perdida de visión, que considero la mas grave, porque no puede andar sola, aunque ella es algo tremenda, sale sin decir nada y entonces andamos preocupados por que se puede caer o que pase otra cosa.
La cosa es que ayer si ella se fue a su casa, le acompañe a la parada, yo quería ir con ella hasta la pasarela, que de ahí ella luego agarra moto, pero como venia un señor a comprar algo que tengo en venta, mi mama me dijo que estaba bien ella se iba sola, porque la ventaja de este transporte es que la lleva hasta la pasarela, cuando llego el bus les dije ella se queda en la pasarela por favor.
Se fue y yo regrese a mi casa. Siempre espero que ella me llame cuando llegue a casa, que calculando la hora en que se fue, debió haber llegado a las 10:30 de la mañana, si es largo son como dos horas casi en bus.
