Para los que son de mi bella Venezuela, deben saber, conocer y porque no haber comprado alguna vez en Traki, que fue una tienda, de una red que en toda Venezuela había, en algunas ciudades llegaron a haber hasta 2 o 3, en mi ciudad solo una, en Ciudad Bolivar, la cual ya tenia mas de 30 años, que su primera sede fue en el Paseo Orinoco.
Traki se fundo en el año 1984, en Ciudad Bolivar fue la segunda tienda, ya que la primera se abrió en Puerto Ordaz, es decir que el Estado Bolivar fue el pionero en esas tiendas que luego se extendió por toda Venezuela, con mas de 4o sucursales.
Luego de su sede en el paseo se hizo CCC Traki, en donde estuvo hasta este año en la Avenida Libertador, donde hace mucho tiempo ese lugar fue de una Cooperativa Auyantepuy. Un gran centro comercial donde yo creí como muchos que tendría salas de cine pero no nada de cine. Pero si muchos establecimientos comerciales, que después de Traki, el espacio mas famoso ahí era la Feria de la Comida, donde había mesas y sillas de punta a punta, para que las personas que iban a hacer compras y otras cosas podían almorzar ya que hay muchos locales con ventas de comidas de todo tipo, donde también los trabajadores de Traki, almorzaban y otras personas se reunían ahí para hacer pequeñas reuniones.
Pero de Traki en ese lugar fue creciendo el espacio se hizo mas grande tenia 3 niveles: planta baja, primer piso y segundo piso, con escaleras eléctricas, las escaleras normales y ascensor pero de cargas.
Muchos decían que la ropa de ahí no era buena, yo digo que si, solo que hay que buscar muy bien, ir a traki así sea a ver uno se relajaba, viendo, probándose la ropa para luego ir a comprar, tenían sus temporadas de ofertas especiales: damas, niños, escolares, caballeros, navidad, entre otros.
Cuando habían ofertas, las colas eran horribles, por eso me gustaba ir tempranito cuando lo hice, que no solo era ropa, ya que se consolido como una tienda por departamento: ropa, lencería cocina, artículos de cocina, hogar como muebles, sillas, decoraciones, últimamente incluyeron víveres y alimentos perecederos.
Pero ahora si siendo una tienda de gran escala porque decide irse, cerrar, claro nada es eterno pero considero que si es algo que va tan bien, entonces esto genera mucha tristeza porque los trabajadores quedaran sin empleo aumentando así la tasa de desempleados justos cerca de una temporada con mucha demanda como lo es Navidad.
Se dice que en su lugar se creara otra tienda que ya esta a nivel nacional que se llama TIO AMMI, que indagando en las redes resulta que el dueño es el mismo que creo y fundo Traki. Ellos sabrán su rollo.
Hace días salí hacer unas diligencias y ya vi que bueno quitaron el nombre de Traki y ya esta el de Tio Ammi, se ve bonito y que esta muy cerca la inauguración, no se si vaya, aunque esos días es bueno, pero imagino la cantidad de personas y se me quitan las ganas, luego ire con calma.

Many said that the clothes there weren't good, but I say they were, you just had to look carefully. Going to Traki, even if it was just to look, was relaxing, browsing, trying on clothes and then going to buy them. They had their seasonal special offers: women's, children's, schoolchildren's, men's, Christmas, among others.
When there were sales, the lines were horrible, so I liked to go early when I did, because it wasn't just clothing, since it had established itself as a department store: clothing, lingerie, kitchenware, household items such as furniture, chairs, decorations, and lately they included groceries and perishable foods.
But now, even though it's a large-scale store, it has decided to leave, to close. Of course, nothing lasts forever, but I think that if something is going so well, then this generates a lot of sadness because the workers will be left without jobs, thus increasing the unemployment rate just before a season of high demand such as Christmas.
It is said that another store will be created in its place, one that is already nationwide called TIO AMMI. Upon researching online, it turns out that the owner is the same person who created and founded Traki. They know what they're doing.
A few days ago, I went out to run some errands and saw that they had removed the Traki name and replaced it with Tio Ammi. It looks nice, and the opening is very close. I don't know if I'll go, even though those days are good, but I imagine the crowds and I don't feel like it. I'll go later when it's calmer.
