Greetings, friends here in this community. As everything is returning to normal now that my daughter's vacation is over, she is about to start her seventh semester at university, so I needed to have new uniforms made. She is studying nursing, and although it is not required, it is more comfortable to wear a uniform.
So we went to the seamstress, who is her cousin and so far is the only one who has made her a better uniform.
After breakfast, we left the house and headed to the bus stop. We weren't in a big hurry, but we had to make the most of our time. My son stayed at home to look after the dog. You can't leave them alone because they're terrible.

We left on a bus, which is currently on an emergency route due to flooding that still affects some streets, making them impassable for any type of vehicle. This change brings us closer.

When we arrived, we got off at the bus stop and walked a little way. She was waiting for us; my daughter had told her we were coming. We had coffee, talked about what she wanted, took measurements, decided on the type of fabric and so on. We said we would buy the fabric and bring it back later.

We returned to the bus stop a little further ahead. The first time we came, the bus didn't pass by, so we walked to where they sell fabrics and back again.
We arrived at Paseo Orinoco, stayed at the bus stop, and walked along the boardwalk, where there weren't many people. The river was still high, and there was no market, so everything was returning to normal after businesses had been closed for almost a month.

So we arrived at Castillo de las Telas, where a number of people live. My daughter quickly found a girl to help her, and once she had found the fabrics, she went to pay and then collected them. They had industrial sewing machines on display, among other things. It had been a while since I had been there, I think since December, as I hardly ever send anything to be sewn anymore.

On leaving, we went to see some of the streets that were still closed due to flooding. There are other stores nearby that are closed, with water reaching almost halfway up their walls, even though the water level has dropped. Hopefully, they won't suffer too many losses.

We continued shopping for what we still needed: thread, elastic bands. I took the opportunity to buy some craft supplies, as Christmas is coming and I need to get started.

Then we went into another store where my daughter was looking for some flip-flops, then we went to another one where we found a little foot bath to give ourselves a pedicure, which was perfect. I didn't think I'd find it there, because I was the one who saw it.

We returned to the bus stop to take the bus and drop off the fabrics at my cousin's house. That was quick, because it could have been any bus, so my daughter went alone to drop off the fabrics, and we went to the other stop. It was already late, and we hadn't left anything for lunch, so she said she would order Chinese food.

The bus for our route arrived. It's about an hour-long trip. When we got home, I rested, my daughter ordered lunch, and we waited for the delivery to arrive.
And that's how this outing with my daughter went. I really enjoy doing things with her, with both of them, but this time it was just her and me. I have to make the most of every moment I can spend with them, because soon they'll get married, move away, and it's not that they'll forget us, but they'll have their own responsibilities.
