Author: @yale95reyra Curator: @solumviz  [EN-ES] Embroidering Chirpily - Holozing fanart. > Hello Holozing community, today I want to show you a new fan art. This time it's dedicated to Chirpily, this beautiful and vibrant character I love for her diverse colors and the elegance with which she raises her feathers. I must confess that at one point I thought I wouldn't finish this project, because just outlining the silhouette made me anxious. It took me a long time, as the stitches are small and necessary for the curves to turn out well, and this design, in particular, had many, especially in the plumage area. Filling in the colored threads, although it also took me almost a day to do this while also sharing the time with housework, was much easier. However, I'm happy to have finished it and don't regret having done this embroidery, because I loved the result. I hope you like it. Below, I'll show you the necessary materials and the step-by-step creative process. The first thing I did was draw the character on a sheet of paper. Then, to transfer it to the fabric, I placed carbon paper on top of it and then the sheet of paper where the design is located. Being very careful not to move the paper and the fabric, I traced the entire drawing. As you can see on the fabric, it's a bit light; therefore, I went over each line with a pen to improve visibility and prevent it from becoming too light with hand manipulation...  Author: @emja Curator: @solumviz  An Evening Portrait for Holozing > This time, I decided to draw one of the female characters, not in an action pose, but in a portrait style, with a sunset in the background. I wanted the image to look peaceful and relaxed, with those calm and warm colors. For this drawing, I looked for character references online, checking out other works for inspiration. I didn't want to make her hair exactly the same, so I changed it a bit, and I also removed part of her outfit to give it a different feel. The result, honestly, I loved. After a while, I focused on finishing the sketch to refine the line art and make a few small corrections. For example, the neck had turned out too long, but I fixed it easily. Then, I looked for color palettes and chose one from a character at sunset. For the white hair, I found another palette that would combine well. With that, I gave the final touch to this drawing...  Author: @judetheartiste Curator: @solumviz  Forest Healer Tossing Coin - Holozing Fan Art > I am here again to share another fan art of holozing, and this time it's Forest Healer tossing a coin. And guess what logo it is? of course his symbol 😆, not really a big deal but it was a last minute thought when i was thinking what gesture he will make. but you know without further ado i'll walk you guys through this artwork of mine, you know I've said it a lot of times but I'll say it again, this is one of my favorite drawing so far 😆. if you see the timelapse below I have been thinking which healer to make, but i ended up with forest healer, this time with a different approach than the drawings i did before. Since I created the female light healer in my previous blog, I've been planning to make a clean and neatly presented piece of fan art. I realized that whenever I work on it, having a good reference makes a significant difference. While drawing the line art, I discovered that one important step in producing a neat drawing is to use a darker color for the line art in the area you are working on. This approach makes the artwork come out beautifully. I'm also curious to see if this technique applies to traditional art, so I plan to explore that and will update in my new blog in the future, if I remember ! haha! Overall, this realization has been life-changing for my digital art... The ink give me the freedom to express my self which ever way i saw fit. First of all i started with a rough sketch of the drawing before i went in with a black pen i made sure my sketch was okay before using my pen. After which i started drawing out the lines and curves of this drawing shading of the dark part of the drawing i made sure my tones are already in place before using my coloured pens... Let me start by doin a rough sketch of this forest healer then a slightly cleaner lineart that serves as guide for coloring or painting. i colored the base colors of forest healer by manually gliding the digital pen on the screen of my tablet until i fill up each and every nook as much as possible... Using different color style to create a new color theory on the artwork . there's no denying it that they still room for improvement I've been busy lately my little time I had I used to create this stunning fan art of the ocean healer but there is this rush I feel whenever I create or start thinking of an exciting new art like this,so I'll do my absolute best in the future. it's always been fun for me everytime I make new art like the background, color values . First I used a 2B pencil for sketching the figure and pose of the character. This is very important why? Because this is the process where you'll be able to define the characters features trading figure and characteristic such as poses body size body height and what have you. I drew Zingu, the character I mainly know as the progress indicator for my drawing skills, since I've come a long way since first drawing her. For this piece I tried to go for an elegant and more mature and ladylike look. To that end, I settled for a cinematic-like portrait with lots of lighting and a proper blend of the blues and whites as the primary color - blues demonstrating the water and whites bringing ice into the picture... Today I decided to draw a portrait of this healer with a cool outfit so I designed several outfits but like this one better. So when I finished the sketch, I colored her skin first with light natural skin tone. And after shading a little I decided to go on and color the outfit. My favorite part of this drawing was working on the golden parts of the outfit. After that I worked on her hair and drew lots of hair strands because I wanted it to be very realistic. In the end, with a brush I added pattern on the white part of her outfit. At this step, I really liked the portrait but then I thought of drawing some kind of magic around her. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but I decided to give it a try and it is really worth the try...
