Today in Ukraine is Memorial Day of the Chernobyl disaster. A catastrofic nuclear accident occured at 01:30 on April 26th 1996. Radiation was spread by the wind and reached United States.
Every year on this day we honor the memory of people who took an awful, slow and painful death on that day and during many month later. We remember the regime that could reduce the number of victims, but did not, because people were an easily recoverable asset.
American HBO channel shared the first trailer of its new mini series "Chernobyl".
The show consists of five episodes and tells about the explosion of a nuclear reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in April 1986.
Premier is on May 6.
