September 7 is the night that I will never forget. Before that day, I have been seeing posts about the rare celestial event: a blood moon. I have seen it all over web2 platforms and I got really excited because I have never experienced this before and did not pay attention to this kind of things. But this time I was thinking to witness it for the first time and that thought filled me with excitement.

As I live in Bangladesh I was really worried that if I will be able to see it because most of the times the sky is cloudy and it's been raining for past few days out of nowhere. So, I was not sure if it would be visible from where I live. For that I reason I didn't want to have any kind of hope. But still I even told my parents and told them that if they see the moon somehow then they should let me know, so all of us decided to stay up late.

It was announced by the news reporters that the lunar eclipse will start at 9:30 pm. So, we decided to wait suddenly the air felt cooler than usual. Me and my parents went up to the rooftop of our building with some snacks patiently waiting to see. At first, I was a bit disappointed, and thought I should go back inside but then my parents told me to wait a bit longer so I ended up staying.

The time passed slowly and magically I saw something changed. That the moon was getting dark from it's left side and my breath caught as I stared at it. One side of the moon is in the shadows and other part is glowing. This view was really mesmerizing.

I was trying to zoom at my best, because I wanted to capture this moment. The moon was looking extremely beautiful than usual.

I was not able to capture the differences but still I managed to get some good pictures with the guidance of my dad. Actually when I was looking at the moon I was unable to notice the difference with my eyes as I have eyesight problem. I forgot to bring my glasses with me.

After a while the moon disappeared because the sky was cloudy and I was really upset, then I decided to step out of our building and move somewhere else from where I can see the blood moon. Because that was the main motive and I was planning to capture the blood moon at any cost.

So, I went out with my glasses and finally found the red moon but I was not on the top of the buildings I was on the road side for that reason the pictures were getting blurry.

The moon was looking mysterious and powerful, it's more beautiful than the ones I have seen in movies. Sadly I could not get better quality pictures.

Anyways it was a breathtaking moment. After a while I set the phone aside, because the best feeling of seeing the red moon is with my own eyes.
