"Locked Onto You" is a Korean webcomic, the genre is romance, crime solving, mystery, drama and destined love. If you like this type of genre then this manhwa will suit your taste. I really appreciate this type of stories because it brings out the curiosity and I love to solve mysteries and criminal cases are my favourite, let's begin with the story.

The story begins with a professional female detective who's name is Ganghui, she's one of the most accomplished police officer who knows how to solve every case. She takes risks to find evidence and catch the criminals, she doesn't fear anyone a strong female protagonist who is ready to show her hard side to the world.

One day while finding the criminals at a hotel she bumped into a guy, at first glance she noticed the ring in his finger and when she looked up to his face she was shocked. Because he looked like someone she knew before. She was holding his hands without realizing it, she stumbled and shoved his hand away.

He was surprised by her actions and he also found resemblance because her face looked similar to someone. Ganghui revealed that she's a police office and asked him to help her catch the cirminals.

For that they both decided to pretend as a couple. The guy was taking it seriously and giving her princess treatment which was making Ganghui blush. Later the cirminals were passing and stopped to see the couple and in a few minutes police arrived and Ganghui tripped them by sliding towards them.

When Ganghui went to thank the guy he says he had a date and the girl saw them together and left, Ganghui felt guilty, decided to give him her police ID card because she had nothing else to offer. While leaving with her teammate she came to know about the guy name he is Hajun a famous celebrity known for his modelling.

Ganghui was curious about the ring that was in his finger, Hajun invited her at a restaurant where they both had a conversation. Hajun was really interested in Ganghui he kept asking if she was married and if not then would she date him. Ganghui decline and in few seconds a call came from Hajun's family member where they wanted Hajun to get married as early as possible.

Then Hajun decided to propose Ganghui but she clearly rejected him. Whenever she asked him about the ring he avoided it which made her frustrated and in result she left the place.

Ganghui later was heartbroken thinking about the past where the same guy looking like Hajun was her boyfriend once and he died long ago, they had the same matching finger ring.

Well the beginning of the story is very interesting, the plot is her lover came alive or it's a doppelganger. You won't find out the mystery behind it unless you read this manhwa and I will not spoil the story for you. I have only explained chapter 1 and 2 maybe. I wanted to share a bit from the story so it will interest people to read it.

I really love it when the female lead is very genius and independent. She knows how to do her job perfectly as a detective and does not neglect her work at all. When she solves the case it looks very attractive to me. It gives me one kind of joy which I can not explain, also my curiosity increases that how would she solve out the things.

She now has to investigate on Hajun to find out how he got the same ring, I wonder if she will ever find out the truth. What if he is the boyfriend who she had lost but there's a question why he was pretending to not know her. Like what if he faked his death, I really don't know what happened but I am very excited to find out the truth alongside Ganghui.

The dress of police officer on Ganghui is mesmerizing, I really got surprised that uniform could look this beautiful. It felt like Ganghui made the outfit look this good. I really appreciate the artist Ganga like I admire the hard work behind the clothing's design. Also, the characters looked amazing in every chapter I admired their beauty. They have amazingly highlighted the eyelashes of each character. The colorings of each panel is just phenomenal.

This manhwa is not that new but it recently got translated in English on Webtoon. I have not found this manhwa on other paltforms, but I have found one where it is in Indonesian language. I feel this manhwa is really good and should be translated in few more languages which will increase the number of it's readers.

I have almost finished reading it and hopefully I will be able to complete it by tomorrow. I have been reading this manhwa for few days and it has become close to my heart. I really like the relationship between a beautiful detective and a celebrity. The chemistry between them is very lingering. I was blushing a lot while reading it because the male lead is very fast forward.
