"My Fake Crush" is not an ordinary manhwa, this is about a girl who has a fake crush and a real crush. To understand the story you need to get more involved into the story of Rai's life. Yes, the female lead is Rai Kim, she's a high school student. She is a huge fan of the idol group Dimple and her bias is Neulchan.

She goes to every concert of Dimple and buy the products of Neulchan. Even her phones wallpaper is the picture of Neulchan.

On the other hand Rai's childhood friend Dogyeong always has been with her since they were a kid, he doesn't like the idol group at all because Rai has a crush on Neulchan.

The story unfolds that Rai is actually not a fan of Neulchan nor she has a crush on him. She doesn't have any interest in him at all the person she has crush on is her friend Dogyeong.

But to hides her feelings from him and she pretends to have crush on Neulchan to make Dogyeong jealous. Dogyeong does react to all these and Rai's friends think that Dogyeong likes her but Rai is not sure.

She gets nervous and shy whenever he gets close to her. The twist came when Neulchan transferred to Rai's class which left her in shock. The problem arises when she has no interest in him but everyone knows she's a big fan of Neulchan.

She didn't want Dogyeong to find out her lies so she started to pretend as a big fan of Neulchan. Seeing Neulchan and Rai together made Dogyeong jealous which was the beginning of Rai's love life...

Will Rai ever be able to confess her feelings? Will she end up with Neulchan or Dogyeong?

The story is very funny to me, I feel it's full of comedy because the female lead has to act Infront of everyone to like her idol but in real she doesn't even like him, she likes her friend.

Things got crazier when Neulchan played along with Rai and was purposely making Dogyeong Jealous. I was laughing so hard by seeing the reaction of Dogyeong.

I have never done such things but I had a friend who used to do these type of things to make her boyfriend jealous and it really works.

This kind of story is not common, I am seeing such fun concept for the first time. I would definitely read other stories if they have similar concept.

This manhwa truly has amazing plot and the artstyle is very fine. The female lead is not like the extremely beautiful as we always see, she looks like a normal high school girl and that makes it relatable with the readers.

Neulchan is also a fun character, but he does not seem like an idol. I was getting bl vibes from him. His character is not as charismatic as I thought it would be but he's cute and funny.

I think he's the naughtiest character I have seen so far. I really don't want to see any kind of love triangle because that makes me sad to see the other one not getting love.

To be honest the ones I have read so far or the series I have watched, everywhere the blond guy always gets rejected and the black hair guy wins.

I don't know why the writers hate Blondies because we as an audience also wants to see blond hair guys winning the female lead and that would be something unique and interesting.

To be honest it's the first time I am shipping the female lead with black hair guy because I like his personality more than Neulchan.

The character of Dogyeong feels genuine and I really like his character, it is true that he treats Rai differently than other girls. He also tries to protect her as her guardian but it was hilarious when he called himself the brother of Rai.

Dogyeong was trying defend Rai from Neulchan because he asked for Rai's number and she started to cry by thinking Dogyeong will find out that she was lying about having a crush.

I was shocked when Dogyeong said he's her brother because I thought he likes her but how come he sister zoned her in heat of the moment, like he could have said something else but this scene made it look so funny. I could truly see how heart broken Rai felt because Dogyeong called her sister haha.

There are more comedy scenes like that in the manhwa, when you will start reading you won't be able to stop. The moment when Dogyeong gets jealous are really adorable. I really liked his reactions.

This manhwa not only has romance but also has a package of comedy and drama. I feel every genre of people will enjoy reading it very much as much as I did.

The visuals and storytelling everything is blended perfectly and I am in love with it. There are currently 21 chapters available on webtoon.
