"Only Hope" is a webtoon it's a Korean comic, the genre is Romance, time travel, mystery, thriller and suspense. This manhwa contains adult themes and situations so for that reason it is highly recommended for the mature audience. The story begins with our female protagonist is called "Eunhye Ju" she's at the hospital to pay a visit to her biological father. But her father does not want to see her face, as if he hated her a lot. When she was leaving the room, she noticed a woman slapping a man and it was none other than her Husband who's name is "Dojin Nam". The woman who had slapped him was the step mother of Eunhye. When Eunhye spotted them she went there to defend her husband but her step mother was calling her husband an orphan and disrespecting both of them, Eunhye asked the step mother to apologize but the step mother refused and left. Dojin calmed down his wife and went back to their home. It appears that Eunhye has been be living the ideal life with her husband. To Eunhye their marriage is perfect and Dojin is the perfect husband for her.

One day Dojin was not at home and Eunhye stumbles upon a hidden basement in their villa. It was a chilling discovery for her because in the basement she found a laptop where she saw a guy tied down in the same basement she's in and that guy had tattoo on all over his neck. That guy was talking about something that Eunhye was clueless about and in the end he got burned alive and the man who did that to the guy was her husband Dojin who was talking in the background of that video. She uncovers Dojin’s dark secret. Then she and Dojin was having food together and she decided to confront Dojin about the basement thing she saw. Dojin smiled and agreed that it was him in the video and suddenly Eunhye started to cough blood which means she got poisoned by Dojin and she collapsed. Then suddenly Eunhye was on her bed and realized that it was just a dream. She tried to call Dojin but he was unable to reach and tragedy strikes. One night their home goes up in flames and and Eun-hye was trying to find an exit but she is brutally killed by a mysterious masked man.

The death is not the end of her story, it was the new beginning of her story. Eunhye finds herself on her mother's graveyard and there she tripped and Dojin was there to help her. Dojin carefully lifted Eunhye and he didn't know her at all but Eunhye knows him very well. Actually, she was transported nine years into the past. Where she's on the very first day when she will meet the man who she will eventually marry. Eunhye asked Dojin about the the guy with tattoo from the video but Dojin was clueless. This made Eunhye realize that she's back in the past with her memories from the future. By the knowledge of what is yet to come, Eunhye embarks on a mission to rewrite her fate.

Many questions arise: who can she trust? Was it Dojin who tried to kill her, or was it someone else? What is the motive behind all of this? Eunhye is on a solo journey to find her answers.

The webtoon's status is new chapters uplaoded every Wednesday, it means it's ongoing. There are two seasons and season 3 is coming soon. I was searching for romance related books and I have found this manhwa. There's not only romance but also time travel and psychological suspense related stories. This is completely a roller coaster ride. This can hook readers from the very first chapter. The artwork is another highlight, to be honest the artwork is visually stunning! I fell in love with the male lead characters charm. The shadow-heavy panels made it look more intense. Every page was so interesting that I kept reading it. I could not skip anything for a bit, usually I scroll fast because I don't read that much of the story but this time I could not stop reading and I didn't want to miss any details.

However, the story isn’t without its flaws. Some readers said that Eunhye’s decisions in the second timeline is not that good as the readers expected. It's said that she is persistence and occasional naivety as frustrating. On the other hand she is has the determination to change her fate which is admirable to the readers, but her choices sometimes felt reckless. But in my point of view, I feel that's how Eunhye is and her choices reflects her personality. I think she's just playing her role nothing else. No hard feelings for her personality, I just love the way she is.

If you're looking for a suspense related stories then feel free to read this manhwa, it will probably give you goosebumps. I am still reading it and hoping the season 3 has a blast for us the readers.
