A few days ago, I finally posted my first Hive post after what seems like forever, asking about the status of Hive and its communities. Apparently, quite a bit has changed since the past 2 years I've been away. I've gotten a gist of things from some of the comments in that post sharing some insights and thank you for those who recommended me to check out some of the communities. I also got to learn about the new KE system from @azircon ! Thanks for sharing about this new system and I've already powered up some of my hbd and remaining hive as well just to lower my KE. It's an interesting concept but I dig it.
Life After Hive
So what have I been up to since I left 2 years ago?
Well, for starters, I left because I was swamped with life and work and couldn't get the energy to constantly post anymore. During my active days on Hive, I used to always hung out and I would snapped every adventure and shenanigans I had be it going to a new food place or finding some hidden gems whilst exploring. Not that I grew tired of posting them on Hive, but more of feeling tired of going out very frequently (says the aging guy). My temperament of being an introvert hasn't changed but instead has deepened since then.
So yeaaa, it was the constant going out and not living life at its present moment that got me tired.
What happened after that?
Well, life happened. Had a few life lessons learnt along the way(story for another time), became involved in NFT for a brief moment during its trend before the bear market and I got a promotion! Let's just say the NFT thingy didn't work out so well and I had to return to my old workplace where my boss was nice enough to welcome me back. He even allowed me to continue my progressed years with them before I left and not having to start from the bottom again. A few months after that, He promoted me into an Animation Manager! He thinks that me having a go at business and entrepreneurship outside of the company says a lot about my character.
I took up the position and here I am right now. When you're dealing with a team of 20 animators, boy... it's a learning curve. I'd probably share some of what I've learnt when you're managing a big team in the future. Before I end my post here, here's the current project that my team and I have been working on. Shameless plug.
The first 8 episodes have only just been released in the past 2 months and there are 36 episodes in total. They come weekly, bi-weekly. If you're a transformers fan, you might like these minisode series. Any fans of Transformers out there?
Till next time!
