**Welcome to a new post, dear Hiver!**
*I had not worried about having oregano plants. I think they seemed complicated plants. Until now.*
When it started this year I started an important gardener mission: **to have an Mexican mint plant (also known as French oregano).**
The one at home was dying.
The cats entered the Mexican mint swarm to play. The dog the same. The plant stopped growing, had no root, or beginning, or end.
That plant was a survivor. One of those that are silent, of which they are doing everything possible to continue alive.
Until mom told me that she will rescue that plant.

I will tell you the truth. The plant was not mine, I did not sow it, and as some people are delicate with their plants, I just don't touch it.
But, a plant that is not taken care of, is owned by another.
There was not much to rescue, just some stems.
I cut them to see if they were dry, or if some served. I could rescue few.
Mom also brought me some Mexican mint plants with root, only as an extra measure in case the weak stems did not survive.
So place it in my little garden. I did a little laborious job. Load the blocks to make a pot. Load the fertilizer, also sow the Mexican mint.
It was just a matter of waiting.
In a little time it began to expand.
So, the stems to rescue managed to live again. Also the plant that mom brought me is very good.

**Some tips**
The Mexican mint plant was easier to take care of what I imagined.
You only need sunlight, and a fertilizer that drains properly. With this you will have an Mexican mint with large, bright leaves and a beautiful green that captivates you.
All I have to do is water it 3 times a week. Cut some stems from time to time and sow again.
So that is. You don't have to do much, you just have to keep animals away from it. Fortunately, cats no longer feel interest. I take care that I not caught attention. There is no longer a swarm, and it is in the garden, which is a protected area.

**Take care of the turtles**
I forget for a moment that I have more pets at home. Ten turtles approximately, of which five of them are adults. Which means they are great. Very big.
They walk, and for their shell they crush everything in their path, they also eat everything in its path.
So that some ornamental and aromatic plants are in the garden. It has some bars that prevents turtles from passing. Otherwise it would be like the great disaster of last year, I almost left without plants because I manage to pass one of them.
I love them, but also to plants. So I must always make everything right at home to avoid running out of plants. And that my animals are also happy.
So the life of this passionate gardener is not simple. Although, I can say that it is quite entertaining.
