El día de la tomografía, mi papá tuvo que estar en ayunas y tomarse una solución con yodo varias horas antes, luego durante el exámen le colocaron "el contraste" por la vena, acción que le dolió mucho. Nos entregaron las imágenes y un CD , pero aún esperamos el informe porque lo dan de 5 a 10 días hábiles, osea que sería entre el 4 o 5 de agosto.
Luego de la tomografía mi papá quedó muy débil, quejándose constantemente de dolor en brazo y pecho por el líquido que le colocaron. Ha tenido menos ánimos y le cuesta caminar.
Las crisis de dolor han aumentado, combinadas con días dónde el estreñimiento causa dolores ya que de alguna manera esto afecta en su zona pélvica donde está ubicado el tumor. Debo inyectarle analgésicos dos veces al día y también entre estos darle pastillas antiflamatorias y supositorios. Lo que ha estado acarreando un gasto diario aproximado de $15 .
Hay momentos donde es muy fuerte verlo luchar con su dolor. Analgésicos como el Tramadol o la morfina solo pueden adquisirse con un recipe especial que da el oncólogo y nuestra próxima cita será el 28 de agosto.
Gracias a donaciones de seres especiales se pudo adquirír el tratamiento hormonal de bicalutamida y Leuprolide, hubo que comprarlos porque en este momento en los seguros sociales no hay, igual se dejaron carpetas y estamos en lista de espera por si llegan.
Estos días han sido bastante intensos, en mi caso poder acompañarlo sin que me genere tanta ansiedad lo debo a qué estoy totalmente medicada por ansiolíticos y antidepresivos, así que esto hace que pueda llevar el proceso con "Tranquilidad" , aunque hay días en que colapso y no queda más que llorar.
Esta semana además, uno de sus hermanos, un tío muy querido dejó este mundo y estar en el velorio y verlo (cosa que él pidió) creo que lo afectaron mucho anímicamente, ha estado acostado y casi no quiere hablar.
Ya solo queda hacerle el antígeno prostático y los segundos exámenes completos de sangre para llevar todo a la cita oncológica y allí nos digan lo próximo a seguir.
