# ¡Bienvenidos a mi rinconcito en Hive! En mi país, Venezuela, existe un género musical popular que se llama [“Gaitas”](https://www.bbc.com/mundo/articles/c7291z46wr0o) y que se escucha mucho en esta época de Navidad. Para nosotros, escuchar *”Gaitas”*en Diciembre, es una bonita tradición que tenemos muy arraigada en el corazón y aunque estemos lejos de nuestro país la sentimos y la cantamos con gran emoción, al menos es mi caso. Asimismo, hay una canción de este mismo género que me gusta mucho titulada “La Tarjeta de Navidad”. La letra de esta canción transmite un sentimiento fraternal y de amor hacia nuestros seres más queridos como amigos y familiares. Por tal motivo, hoy quiero compartirles un fragmento de esta canción porque siento a la comunidad de Hive como mi familia. Y dice así: >“No te sorprendas si te llega mi tarjeta Es el regalo más sincero en Navidad Ella es la muestra del cariño que te he dado Venga mi hermano, dame un abrazo de paz…” Admito que cada vez que escucho esta canción siento una profunda nostalgia por toda mi gente y francamente, también creo que una tarjeta de Navidad, escrita con palabras que emanan del corazón es uno de los regalos más bonitos que podemos dar o recibir en Navidad o año nuevo. Por tal motivo, quise traerles un video donde les muestro el paso a paso de **Cómo Hacer una Tarjeta de Navidad** para que le escribas las palabras más hermosas y sinceras a esa persona que tanto aprecias y valoras y lo más importante es que será una tarjeta hecha con tus propias manos. Por otro lado, la ilustración que hago en esta tarjeta, la aprendí en las clases de Patreon con mi profesora [@yubisguzman_art](https://www.instagram.com/yubisguzman_art?igsh=MWNkMGdlcnB5d2hqcA==). Ella nos enseñó tres ilustraciones: un árbol de navidad, unas esferas de navidad y una guirnalda de navidad y la que más me gustó fue esta última porque me pareció muy linda y además es bastante fácil de hacer. ## Vas a necesitar los siguientes materiales:  Lápiz de grafito. Borrador Un compás o algo con lo que puedas dibujar un círculo (El círculo que hice midió: 7 cm de diámetro. Un papel resistente al agua (Las medidas que usé fueron: 11 x 12). Acuarelas de los colores que tengas. (También, puede usar témperas). Pinceles número 0, 8 y 6. Escarcha, brillantina o purpurina. Dos frascos con agua. Un pañito. ## Adicional: Secador de pelo. Marcador negro, punta fina. # Welcome to my little corner on Hive! For us, listening to *"Gaitas ”* in December is a beautiful tradition that we have deeply rooted in our hearts and even though we are far away from our country we feel it and sing it with great emotion, at least in my case. The lyrics of this song transmit a fraternal feeling of love towards our loved ones such as friends and family. For this reason, I wanted to bring you a video where I show you the step by step of **How to Make a Christmas Card** so you can write the most beautiful and sincere words to that person you appreciate and value so much and the most important thing is that it will be a card made with your own hands. She taught us three illustrations: a Christmas tree, some Christmas spheres and a Christmas garland and the one I liked the most was the last one because I thought it was very cute and it's also quite easy to do. ## You will need the following materials:  Graphite pencil. Eraser A compass or something with which you can draw a circle (The circle that I made measured: 7 cm in diameter. A waterproof paper (The measurements I used were: 11 x 12).
