Vengo de una familia muy humilde y en casa ni se conocía esos aparatos. Mi abuelo no era de escuchar música y él solo escuchaba la radio por las mañanas y las tardes, cuando tomaba tereré. No recuerdo que mi padre escuchara música, ya que estuve con el muy poco tiempo y mamá que tenía que criar a sus tres hijos, creo que ni se les pasaba por la cabeza la música.

Quiero compartir con ustedes cómo conocí el disco de vinilo. Tenía entre 13 y 14 años, fui un tiempo a vivir con mis tíos, hermano de mamá, a una distancia de 4 horas de mi pueblo natal. Ellos sí tenían los tocadiscos y obviamente como gente grande y de campo la música era restringida. Entonces lo escuchábamos cada muerte de obispo, como se dice cuando sucede muy de vez en cuando. Alguna que otra canción lo he escuchado y sinceramente no le presté mucha atención en ese tiempo. Años después, ya en Argentina, con 18 años, lo vi nuevamente en la casa donde vivía y el señor, si bien era muy amable, con esos aparatos era muy cuida. Solo lo tocaba el y en reuniones con sus familiares.
! [English] I want to share with you how I first encountered vinyl records. I was between 13 and 14 years old, and I lived with my uncles, my mother's brother, for a time, about four hours from my hometown. They did have record players, and obviously, as grown-up people from the countryside, music was restricted. So we listened to it every time a bishop died, as they say when it happens very rarely. I've heard a few songs, but honestly, I didn't pay much attention to it at the time. Years later, already in Argentina, when I was 18, I saw him again at the house where he lived. The man, although very kind, was very careful with those devices. He only played them himself and at gatherings with his family.

A los 19 años conozco a Marcelo, nos ponemos de novio y meses después me lleva de paseo por avenida Corrientes y callao. En la esquina misma hay un lugar que en este momento no me acuerdo el nombre, dónde venden libros y también discos de vinilo. En ese lugar lo pude palpar y conocerlo bien. Recuerdo que tenía un espacio donde pasaban canciones, donde uno podía disfrutar de algunas, mientras recorría el local.
Recuerdo que en ese local escuchamos una canción de Alejandro Lerner y fue maravilloso. Todavía lo recuerdo y me encantaría poder tener un equipo de música de esos tiempos, para que mis hijos, puedan vivir parte de nuestra historia. Como verán, mi vida musical no es tan amplia, pero igualmente quería contarles.
