En mi país de origen (Paraguay) acostumbramos a tomar mates y tereré (mate con agua fría y yuyos). Y en mi país de residencia (Argentina), también se acostumbra al mate amargo y dulce. En casa acostumbramos por las mañanas a tomar mates amargos. Pero, siempre existen excepciones en la vida y a mí, me gusta, de vez en cuando, tomarme mi rico te.

La historia comienza cuando recién llegue de Paraguay a la Argentina y comencé a trabajar en una peluquería. Y tenía una clienta que me estimaba mucho y me ofreció trabajar de limpieza y acompañante en su casa. Eran tres hermanas que vivían solas y sinceramente no estaban muy bien. Una era esposa de un gran empresario de los pollos, por lo tanto, estaban muy bien económicamente. La cuestión es que una de las señoras viajaba a Mar del Plata a menudo y me llevaba de acompañante. Es decir, yo estaba todo el tiempo con ella (restaurante, peluquería, cine y más). Todo esto para contarles, de que ella tenía la peculiaridad de preparar el té, con un infusor de acero inoxidable.

Por supuesto, también compartía conmigo su pasión y más allá de que quizás yo no lo quería, casi que me obligaba a tomarlo. Pero la verdad, me encantaba.

Caminando por diferentes bazares buscando otros aparatos para la cocina, me encuentro con un difusor muy parecido, al de la señora Hilda. Por cierto, olvide contarles que se llamaba Hilda, una de las señoras. Por supuesto, no estaba muy económico, pero no lo dude y me lo compré. Necesitaba revivir esa hermosa experiencia.

Es por eso que elijo esta comunidad, para contar mi experiencia con el té. Lo tomo muy a menudo y es una experiencia que me encanta. Porque aplico el mismo ritual de la señora Hilda y por momento, mentalmente me siento o me transporto a esos lugares bellos y exóticos que conocí con ella. Hoy, sinceramente, tomo de los te clásicos, a veces elijo digestivos y en ocasiones té verde. Pero más allá del sabor, el momento de mimarse y disfrutar un momento conmigo, no tiene precio.
