Currently, I am back on a ship traveling the Drake Passage on my way to Antarctica, for about a month of living non-stop on the Antarctic Peninsula. I will be working on a contract known as the Fly the Drake cruises, which basically means the ship I am stays in Antarctica and guests will be flying in from Chile to a Chilean airstrip in the South Shetland Islands. We pick everyone up via the zodiacs, along with their luggage that we have on the ship and then head on our way to start exploring the Antarctic peninsula.
One thing that I always enjoy when exploring Antarctica is the constant and random ice formations, which you can not stop taking pictures of and are everywhere you look. Mother Nature is quite the artist and her work always seems to be inspire, especially, in the Crystal Desert.
