Trying the Caroreña Summer Mojito with my grandmother | #BeerSaturday [ENG/ESP]

Hello everyone, a few days ago, on a little outing with my grandmother, we came across a drink I was looking for and, taking advantage of the fact that I had planned to enjoy some drinks with her, we didn't miss the opportunity and, well, on this occasion I'm going to tell you a little about what for us was the "Caroreña summer mojito." >Hola a todos, hace unos días atrás, en una pequeña salida con mi abuela, nos topamos con una bebida que estaba buscando y, aprovechando que tenía pendiente disfrutar un rato de bebidas con ella, no perdimos la oportunidad y, pues, en esta ocasión les hablaré un poco de lo que para nosotras fue la "Caroreña verano mojito".    To start, this drink comes in a 355 ml can and is made by Polar, the country's leading brand. It cost $2.50 and is part of the collection of sangrias, which includes several varieties, including regular, white, and, on this occasion, a mojito. It also has 6% alcohol, making it a drink that I expect to be strong. I must say that I was looking for this drink for quite some time here in my city, because, on the one hand, it was difficult to find and, on the other, the prices varied greatly. >Para comenzar, esta bebida viene en una presentación de lata de 355 ml y es perteneciente a la empresa Polar, la cual es la principal del país. Esta tuvo un costo de 2,5$ y forma parte de la colección de sangrías con diversas variedades como la normal, la blanca y, en esta ocasión, la mojito. Asimismo, tiene 6 grados de alcohol, lo que la hace una bebida que espera ser fuerte en expectativa. Debo decir que esta bebida la estuve buscando por un buen tiempo acá en mi ciudad, pues, por una parte, era complicada de encontrar y, por otra, variaban mucho los precios.    As for the presentation, I must say I like this green-toned style, which is very allusive to the drink itself, seeking to be visually striking. It also partially maintains the signature Caroreñas typography, but with a creative blend of lemon and mint leaves. Something that caught my attention was that most of the lettering is white, which blends in so that only the main image stands out. >En cuanto a presentación, debo decir que me gusta este estilo en tonos verdes, el cual es muy alusivo a lo que es la bebida en sí, el cual busca ser algo explosivo a la vista, y en parte mantiene la tipografía característica de las caroreñas, pero con esa mezcla creativa con detalles de limones y hojas de hierbabuena. Algo que me llamó la atención, que justamente la mayor parte del color de las letras está en blanco, que se llega a fusionar para que solo destaque la imagen principal.    Now, regarding the flavor, this time, since we were in a different location, my grandmother and I served our drink in small glasses with ice so my grandmother and I could enjoy it better. Initially, upon opening the can, a strong lemon scent overwhelms us. It's quite loud due to the fizz when poured, and even quite foamy without being overpowering. We both took a sip, and I must emphasize that the lemon predominates; I couldn't detect anything else; nevertheless, it's a very potent flavor. >Ahora bien, en tema de sabor, para esta ocasión, como estábamos en un lugar diferente, servimos nuestra bebida en vasitos con hielo para disfrutarla mejor mi abuela y yo. En principio, al abrir la lata, un olor a limón se hace fuerte. Es bastante ruidosa por lo gaseosa al momento de servir e incluso bastante espumosa sin llegar a ser excesiva. Ambas le dimos un sorbo y debo hacer énfasis en que lo que predomina es el limón; no pude detectar más; sin embargo, es un sabor muy potente.    The alcohol is strongly present, and the finish leaves a bitter aftertaste from the lemon, reminding me of those lemonades with little sweetness. Still, considering our location, where the weather was variable, it was perfect, as it served its purpose of refreshing and was easy for both of us to drink. My grandmother liked it even more because we paired it with crackers, which lessened the bitterness and made it taste better. >Se le siente mucho el tema del alcohol y el final deja una sensación de amargura por el limón, recordándome a esas limonadas con poco dulce. Aun así, teniendo en cuenta el lugar donde estábamos, en el que había cambios de clima, se hizo perfecta, pues cumple con su función refrescante y se nos hizo fácil de tomar para ambas. A mi abuela le gustó mucho más que todo porque las acompañamos con galletas, las cuales bajan ese amargor y la hacen saber mejor.    It's not a drink for every occasion, but rather for moments that need something cold and intense, and always for sharing, as I really enjoyed this pairing with my grandmother, tasting and sharing opinions. I personally liked it, but I'm contradicted by the bitter aftertaste. We even gave it to my aunt, who barely drinks, and she could only taste the alcohol, so it's not for those with a low tolerance or those not keen on a full-bodied drink. >No es una bebida para cualquier ocasión, sino más que todo para momentos que ocupen algo frío e intenso, y siempre para compartir, pues esta dupla con mi abuela probando y compartiendo opiniones me gustó mucho.
