Hello Hivers, @thecalmstorm here, bringing you fresh news that almost all of us (specially Northern Cebuano) needs to hear. As we all know Northen Cebu had recently faced a terrible calamity (earthquake) that caused many people to suffer greatly. Specially those Ten earthquake victims from Barangay Binabag, Bogo City, Who were laid to rest in a mass burial at Corazon Cemetery, while one was buried separately on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Families and friends wept as they said their final goodbyes to their loved ones.

I dont know what I’ll do if i were in their situation. Its truly heartbreaking. I hope no one will ever experience this kind of horror again.
Thankfully, according to The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) they said that the chances of a strong tremor (Earthquake) happening again in Northern Cebu in the near future are now very low, possibly taking hundreds of years before a similar event recurs. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15tDS8UzpV/?mibextid=wwXIfr This news gives me a sigh of relief knowing that the trauma and horror that the earthquake Had caused will never appear again in my lifetime.
