Everyone should be able to do their work freely and easily on this Sunday.Most of the sweet lovers will love the recipe that I have brought to show you today.We call this "Sugar Murukku".We can make these in different colors just like the taste. Well then, let's see how to make these sugar muruku.
Ingredients;
- 250g of plain flour
- Two tablespoons of sugar
- some of water
- Two and half tablespoons of oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt powder
- A drop of red colouring
- A drop of green colouring
- 200ml of sugar
- 60 ml of water
- A pinch of salt powder
The method of making;
Put plain flour in a bowl and add salt, sugar and coconut oil to it.
Stir to mix everything well.
Now divide the flour mixture equally into three bowls.
Add one drop of red color to one tablespoon of water and put it in a bowl.Add one drop of green color to one tablespoon of water in the other bowl.No color is added to the other bowl.
Add water little by little and make a regular thick dough ball.
Cover with a clean cloth and keep aside for about fifteen minutes.
Now take a tray and spread flour on it.Take one ball and make it thin.Cut into strips as shown in the image. Usually 2 inch strips are better.
Cut strips in the same way from the remaining two balls.
Now add oil to a pan and once the oil is hot, fry these cut strips separately for about three to four minutes on low flame.
Strips fried like this.
Put in a bowl and mix all these colors together.
Now take another pan and add sugar to it. Add a pinch of salt and water. Stir everything well and boil until the sugar dissolves well.
When the sugar mixture thickens, add the fried strips.
Turn off the stove, stir well and remove from the stove.
