Un saludo amistoso queridos Hivers, me da mucho gusto estar con ustedes una vez más, espero que todos tengas una semana maravillosa. La temática de esta semana es “Al Dios Que Adoramos” me llama mucho la atención, pues como lo he dicho en otras ocasiones soy atea desde hace unos 15 años. Sin embargo esto no me limita, creo que lo bello de las propuestas o temas sugeridos en esta hermosa comunidad, es que estimula nuestra creatividad e imaginación y nos ayuda a conectarnos con nuestro amor por la música. Para participar con la temática esta vez escogí una canción de la banda española de Heavy Metal “Tierra Santa” que tiene por título “La canción del pirata”. Esta canción la conocí cuando era adolescente y siempre me ha gustado porque describe a una persona libre, sin miedos y defensora de la dignidad. La canción tiene dos partes, la primera es ruda y enérgica, con todas las características del Heavy. La segunda es acústica, triste pero muy poderosa. La parte que decidí interpretar para ustedes en la segunda, pues como ya saben mi instrumento es la guitarra acústica. Vinculo esta canción con la temática de esta semana porque un de las frases que compone esta bellísima letra es “Es mi dios la mi libertad” y creo que las personas construimos a dios a nuestra imagen y semejanza, si pudiera describir una idea de dios válida para mí, sería la libertad misma. La certeza de poder vivir sin miedo, esa es la verdadera libertad, y creo que no hay nada más poderoso y divino que eso. **Hive Open Mic WEEK 157 // La Cancion Del Pirata II // @aly.squid (English/Spanish)** A friendly greeting dear Hivers, it gives me great pleasure to be with you once again, I hope you all have a wonderful week. This week's theme is "To the God We Worship" is very appealing to me, for as I have said on other occasions I have been an atheist for about 15 years. However this does not limit me, I think the beauty of the proposals or themes suggested in this beautiful community, is that it stimulates our creativity and imagination and helps us to connect with our love for music. To participate with the theme this time I chose a song from the Spanish Heavy Metal band "Tierra Santa" titled "La canción del pirata" (The Pirate's Song). I knew this song when I was a teenager and I have always liked it because it describes a free person, without fears and defender of dignity. The song has two parts, the first one is rough and energetic, with all the characteristics of Heavy. The second is acoustic, sad but very powerful. The part I decided to interpret for you in the second one, because as you know my instrument is the acoustic guitar. I link this song with the theme of this week because one of the phrases that makes up this beautiful lyric is "It is my god my freedom" and I believe that people build god in our image and likeness, if I could describe a valid idea of god for me, it would be freedom itself. The certainty of being able to live without fear, that is true freedom, and I believe there is nothing more powerful and divine than that.
