Hey 👋

It’s been such a ~~busy~~ week for me. Since last week, I have been traveling with either my mom but also my friend who came to visit from afar. But here it is, the actual week I’ve been eagerly waiting for and I am so excited for it\! I have said previously that I will be traveling light and as usual, only with a backpack, I am ready to wander\! To be honest, the most challenging part is always the pre-travel for me. There’s so many things to take care of including now my 13 cats & making sure they are well-fed and also making sure my mom is well-fed too while I am away. Oh, and the excitement that I have is adding up to it. While Malaysia is about 2 hours and 40 minutes flight for me, I still have to travel about an hour to the airport and tomorrow, I started my journey at around 5 AM 😂You know, I honestly wonder if I would be up because that is when I normally go to bed or just came back home from working inside a cafe. It has been about quite a few years since my international travel but this time, it felt like the first time again traveling overseas. There is so much excitement but also worry dealing with immigration officers 😂If you’re from South East Asia, you might understand this feeling but I am going to just wing it\! Unlike in the past, these days, we have to fill out MDAC(MALAYSIA DIGITAL ARRIVAL CARD). I made sure that I have all these documents including my outbound flight and everything necessary since typically, the Indonesian officer asks things like this.

When it comes to SIM CARD, this time I decided not to buy any E-SIM or even a physical one. I am currently using 3 which is also available in Malaysia. They have reasonable roaming prices and save me from the trouble of actually purchasing E-sim. Now that I think about it, almost everything these days is pretty convenient. For Indonesian citizens we also have QR code payment, so it’s a lot easier to transact over there. Back when I was traveling there, it was all mostly cash and I didn’t know a lot of things. Now, all we need is just a phone, scan, and done 😂 By the way, I am bringing leftover merchandise from when I was organizing a Hive event in Indonesia. I have 2 pens and some stickers. I’d be happy to give them around. I wished I still had the totebag but at the time, we only ordered what was necessary and on budget hehe. I thought about bringing some indonesian coffee but my bag is full 😹if I have some space left & you happen to love coffee, let me know\! I could bring a coffee or two.

See you soon!
