Morning Birds Take Places Upon Stage Of Life's Amphitheater

Birdsong to wake in the morning, during full moon we hear the night bird singing what a wonderful world we live in, Fiery-necked Nightjar we enjoy, still have to learn how to load a sound track. Here is a professional one to enjoy on YouTube Fiery-necked Nightjar

When the sunrises birds rejoice heralding in a new day of living.

Some honk along waters stirring up a grandeur when in flight going home at night. Egyptian geese are vocal, during breeding season seeking out partner in our region between July to October, vocal activity levels higher than normal. When approached will hiss in response to being threatened.

Tawny-flanked Prinia (Prinia subflava) unstreaked warbler with long graduated tails, tawny flanks and distinctive pale eyebrow. Not seen often with pairs or small groups patrolling grass or bush, more often on lower levels of vegetation or on the ground.

African Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus baeticatus) found throughout South Africa always close to water, small in size feeding on insects another lovely sighting during the week.

During this week I have been pleasantly surprised by variety of birds popping up, here great amount of zooming required for distant tree in church gardens across the road.

Black-headed Oriole Oriolus larvatus - there are four species of Old-World Orioles in southern Africa, with one occurring in our area, KwaZulu-Natal suburban garden visitor, with loud and melodious calls.
