Las celebraciones de cumpleaños de los niños son muy importantes, ellos siempre tienen la ilusión de que se los vas agasajar en su día con una hermosa celebración, y los padres siempre estamos pendiente de eso y hacemos lo imposible de poder celebrar ese día tan especial para los chicos

Children's birthday celebrations are very important, they always have the illusion that you will entertain them on their day with a beautiful celebration, and we parents are always aware of that and do our best to celebrate that special day for the kids.

Si bien Emma es muy pequeña y no alcanza a comprender lo importante que es una celebración, esta Abigail, que espero ansiosa todo el año la llegada del día del cumpleaños de su hermanita, sin olvidar a todos los primitos que estaban pendientes de la fecha de la celebración. Este ha sido un año muy complicado para todos nosotros, el país donde vivimos no está bien económicamente, y como saben esto nos afecta a todos; a todo esto, hay que sumar que mi hija esta construyendo su casa, algo que lleva mucho dinero, aun así, se pudo hacer la celebración, aunque fue sencilla, resulto ser realmente emocionante

While Emma is very young and doesn't quite understand how important a celebration is, there's Abigail, who anxiously awaits her little sister's birthday all year long, not to mention all her cousins who were waiting for the celebration. This has been a very difficult year for all of us. The country we live in is not doing well economically, and as you know, this affects us all. On top of all this, my daughter is building her house, which takes a lot of money. Even so, the celebration was possible. Although it was simple, it turned out to be really exciting.

La preparación del cumpleaños llevo más de la mitad del año, comenzamos con las compras del ¨cotillón¨ y las ¨golosinas¨, dos cosas realmente importantes y no puede faltan en un cumpleaños de niños, luego fueron los gastos de las bebidas, el alquiler de las mesas y sillas, finalmente concluimos con el alquiler de la ornamentación, algo fundamental para ambientar la fiesta, la temática fue de la abejita que por aquí está muy de moda. Decidimos hacer la celebración el domingo próximo después del día de nacimiento de mi nieta, y aunque les cueste creer amaneció lloviendo y se mantuvo así hasta las 14 horas, hora en que debíamos colocar la ornamentación en el fondo de casa donde teníamos previsto realizar el agasajo

The preparations for the birthday took more than half the year. We started by buying the "party favors" and the "candy", two really important things that can't be missed at a child's birthday party. Then came the cost of drinks, renting tables and chairs, and finally, we finished with the decoration rental, something essential to set the mood for the party. The theme was the little bee, which is very popular around here. We decided to hold the celebration the Sunday after my granddaughter's birthday, and although you may find it hard to believe, it started raining and stayed that way until 2:00 PM, the time we were supposed to put up the decorations in the backyard where we were planning to hold the party.

Por suerte el señor de la lluvia se apiado de nosotros llevando las nubes en otra dirección, para antes de media tarde se puso realmente hermoso, y no tardaron en llegar los invitados. Ha sido una celebración muy emotiva, vinieron muchos pequeños a acompañar a la cumpleañera, además, tuvimos videos llamadas con todos nuestros seres queridos que residen en otros países. Cuando la estas pasando bien la hora pasa volando, y para cuando nos dimos cuenta se habían retirado todos los invitados, quedando la hermosa sensación de que todo ha salido bien, y que las decisiones que se han tomado han sido las acertadas. Emma nunca estuvo más feliz, no podía creer que vinieron muchos chicos a visitarla en este día tan especial . Las bellas tomas las hicimos con mi ¨camara¨ :  y quedaran guardadas en la web por siempre como recuerdo de la primera celebración del cumpleaños de mi nieta

Luckily, the rain lord took pity on us by blowing the clouds away. By mid-afternoon, it was really beautiful, and the guests were soon arriving. It was a very emotional celebration; many little ones came to accompany the birthday girl. We also had video calls with all our loved ones who live in other countries. When you're having a good time, the hour flies by, and before we knew it, all the guests had left, leaving us with the wonderful feeling that everything had gone well and that the decisions made were the right ones. Emma was never happier; she couldn't believe so many kids came to visit her on this special day.
