You know that I love to prepare ✂️ ahead of time for the arrival of Christmas🎄, hehe. We are just a few days away from the most beautiful time of the year, and it's time to activate creativity and look for ideas to decorate our homes with time, savings, and if possible recycling ♻️.
I was looking for ideas for some decorations that I can make with little money and with what I have at home recycled ♻️, so that I don't have to spend on those items and buy what is necessary.
Starting from my multifaceted CDs 💿 that I always turn to in my decorations, hehehe, I focused on making some coasters that can be decorative and at the same time protect the surfaces where we place those containers that contain liquids. They are also useful.
I made this coaster with the CDs I mentioned before, with 4 mm thick jute thread and scraps of synthetic leather. I practically reused these materials, and they are still in good condition. I love working with recycling and this idea is cute and simply temporary.
These types of crafts are super simple. The CDs played the role of the base and the jute covered the entire CD cover in a circular shape 💿. CDs are resistant materials, and if we refer to jute, the same.
At home, some tables are covered with tablecloths, others show the glass completely. The idea is to use these coasters to avoid getting the tablecloths or glasses wet or damaged by the liquids contained in the containers we are consuming. Glasses always sweat due to the heat or cold of the liquids, and we don't want spills on the surfaces of our tables.
On the other hand, these coasters work perfectly to decorate the table this Christmas🎄, also birthdays, these coasters are trendy, super cute, chick, their colors are neutral, so they match with everything.
As for the size, it is quite proportional and useful for glasses, coffee cups, tea cups, large cups for lattes, in short, the idea is that they protect the surfaces from the waste produced by the containers, whether they contain cold or hot liquids.
I continue looking for ideas to make more decorations with reusable materials, now that Christmas is coming🎄 you have to get creative and save as much as possible by making decorative crafts and more ourselves, which if you want, with the help of tutorials you can can easily build.
