Illuminations in the sky especially late evenings always give me that otherworldly feeling. It makes me pause for a moment to reset as it ignites my sensory awareness. I stare at the formations in the sky and try to tune into the vibrations of energies within me. Sunsets give me a humbling feeling of how magical my existence is in this world. I think of people closest and dearest to me, that are near and far, I listen to my breath; I breathe in gratitude, and I exhale tension and any feelings of fear and negative emotions, and I check my reality.
Life is beautiful. I remind myself of this, especially when faced with rough times and disappointments. With all the negativity in the world, keeping my emotions and values aligned can be wobbly at times, but sunsets help me stay connected and grounded.
Perched on the bow of the boat, looking out into the darkness, is a herd of black cows looking across the waters at me. Cows are curious and observant. They see things and take the time to ponder. I looked around me and I felt the magic the light had upon me.
Twas the end of the day, yet the sunset made me come alive. Sunsets give me the motivation to create possibilities and the confidence that I will overcome any obstacles that I might encounter. Sundown is different every day but each one has the same effect on me; a great sense of calmness that makes me feel centered. There's something therapeutic about the time of day, and I love it.
At the end of a long day of traveling along the canals, seeing the sunset is always appropriate and welcoming, and I smile because it's the end of the day's journey, and I look forward to a new day.
