I really like statistics and, of course, I watch them on social media. Every year I look at which publication gets the most views and reviews. This year, the Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery, disappearing into the fog, is still in the first place!
Last year, the post about the Opoki on Sukhona won, beating the same Spaso-Prilutsky with the northern Lights quite a bit.
In third place in 2024 was the moonrise in Veliky Ustyug, and then again there was the same monastery with a supermoon.
If we take 2023, then there is also Priluki with Aurora. The remaining places were shared by winter Ustyug with Nikolsk and Opoki.
So the magical place has been revealed, which will delight the viewer in all manifestations of nature and weather.
All the top posts are summer, but winter posts are often not far behind.
And I said that summer is a non–creative period. The summer is fruitful, but I'm still in favor of spring and autumn.
The fog over the Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery can be removed all summer long: a low–lying meadow near the river is just a fog factory!
At first, the fog spread like a carpet on the ground, and then it enveloped everything around and the monastery simply disappeared into the fog...
