Hello my friends, once again like i always say, a new week starts, and with it a new chance to be a winner and to share your content with people all around the world. This week i´m bringing you a song i love, a song i found a few years ago and a song i sing everytime i´m sad. The song 'If The World Was Ending' by JP Saxe, featuring Julia Michaels, is a poignant exploration of love, loss, and the hypothetical scenarios that bring out our deepest feelings. The lyrics delve into the aftermath of a relationship, where the connection has faded, but the emotional ties still linger. The song uses the metaphor of an earthquake to represent a life-altering event, prompting reflection on what truly matters when faced with the end. The chorus of the song poses a powerful question: if the world was ending, would the person you once loved come over? This question is loaded with the implication that in the face of ultimate catastrophe, all the reasons that kept two people apart would become trivial. The song suggests that love, or at least the need for comfort and connection, transcends the practicalities and issues that may have led to a relationship's demise. It's a sentiment that resonates with anyone who has experienced a profound connection that didn't last, leaving them to wonder about the strength and significance of that bond. JP Saxe and Julia Michaels deliver a heartfelt performance that captures the vulnerability and introspection the lyrics demand. Their vocal chemistry adds a layer of authenticity to the narrative, making the listener feel the weight of the hypothetical scenario. The song's popularity may be attributed to its relatable theme and the emotional honesty that both artists bring to the table. It's a musical reminder that sometimes, it's the thought of extreme circumstances that strips away our defenses and reveals what we truly desire from our human connections. The cover i´m doing is from them with Evaluna, a Colombian songwriter and singer that brings a little bit of spanish and emotion to the song, but the Essense is the same. I really hope you guys enjoy my presentation. PS: i also tried this vertical format, i hope you like it.
